Decent? That's a terrible WR room, one of the worst in the NFL.

As long as we have Fitz, I would never use the words terrible or worst in the NFL when describing our WR room. Sure you need complementing parts but most decent teams start with a big three (#1 QB, #1WR & #1 RB). If Bradford can stay healthy and be above average, then Fitz & DJ are as good as it gets in the league.

I understand why you may say it. When on field Niklaus can block better than any TEs Cards have. I know I am in the minority on this

I liked Niklas also. Some fans are infatuated with RSJ who is more a WR than a TE and couldn`t block his grandmother.

I think if we sign J Matthews we would be set at WR. Maybe draft another one in the later rounds & a couple of UDFA's.

Ok, let's say the room includes Fitz, you and me...good WR room?

We have one quality NFL receiver, and not one other WR that has even had a single year of legit top 2 WR production. Hell, Jaron Brown would be our unquestioned #2 right now. Our WR room is a disaster, and it's of even greater urgency considering Fitz is done soon.

While I wouldn't mind Calvin Ridley, I think that there are other WR's who are pretty good and will be available later in the Draft. My hope (assuming all of the Top Four QB's are gone) is for a CB, which I see as our greatest need. But, I've read that Wilks is more concerned with his front seven than with his DB's. Hope I'm wrong.

I don’t think Ridley offers anything special. Granted we’ve been spoiled at wr (Roy green, sanders, Boston, Moore, Clark, boldin, Fitz, etc) but if we take a wr in the first he has to be a difference maker and I don’t see that in Ridley.

I would absolutely love to grab that kid from Memphis Miller in round 2… Pretty much every expert says he is the best route runner in the entire draft and can play inside or outside... The most consistent available...

I think ARZ ends up drafting Kirk somewhere in draft. History has shown though WRs can be found later in the draft.

#1 Fitz 6’3” 4.63
#2 Matthews 6’3” 4.46
#3 Nelson 5’10” 4.28
#4 Butler 6’3” 4.37
#5 Williams 6’1” 4.37

If Matthews signs, we have a pretty tall and fast group save Fitz. All we’d need is a shifty guy. Know any? Christian Kirk, Anthony Miller
JJ Nelson.

When is Matthews going to wise up and take the deal on the table??? That’s of course assuming the deal is still on the table following Butler signing. Nobody is paying him $5mm / yr at this late stage.

Matthews signed with the Pats so looks like Fitz a rookie and JJ will be the top 3 WR. I didn’t like Matthews but we need someone.

Kirk is a stud and is as pro ready and sure thing as one could ever expect in the 1st round, let alone 2nd. Guy has had a pro mentality since high school. If we miss out, we're going to watch him star somewhere else. He can play inside and outside, even running back if we want to line him up there for some gadget plays. He simply is the perfect WR for us as Fitz nears his end.

He'd start day 1. IMO a perfect fit for our WCO that wants to get the ball out fast, runs pro crisp routes, and Bradford will put it right in his hands and watch him go.

You need to watch more tape of Mr Ridley. He's going to be special

It's a good thing that we've been aggressive in FA. It enabled us to finish in second place in the Jordan Mathews sweepstakes. We're on the move.

If they’re not going to bring in another WR, then they damn well better go out and get a CB or two before the draft. 7 picks are not going to fill out the numerous holes on this roster and you certainly cannot count on UDFAs.

Here are the needs IMHO:

QBOTF
WR 2
WR 3
TE
C
RT 1
DT
DE 3
MLB
S 3
CB 2
Slot CB
