xbox gold expiring mid may - see any deals?

been searching slickdeals daily waiting for something to pop up. Just going to continue that until renewal time and if nothing comes, ill pay full price for now =P

FYI, you can get 12 months of Xbox Live through Bing Rewards for 2899 points ($ value of about $29) for gold rewards members (otherwise 2999 points). Obviously, this doesn't help you right away since it takes a long time to earn points on Bing, but it might help in the future.

im not even sure what all of that is, I assume "points" for using bing instead of google?

I have some browsers that try to use bing and yahoo instead of google and I always hate the results they give me.

Bing Rewards gives you points for doing searches on your PC & Phone plus bonus points for doing quizzes, clicking on links, etc. You can get anywhere from 25-35 points per day so it takes a while to get free stuff, but it's pretty easy. I've gotten free months of Hulu & a few $5 Amazon gift cards.

Their deal is for an online game code so you should get access to the code immediately in your account & you can copy/paste it into the xbox website.

It's not the best price, but I haven't often seen it cheaper for the last few months & it sells out quickly when it does go on sale.

Best Buy is supposed to have 12 month Xbox Live cards on sale for $35 starting Sunday 6/5/16 & apparently with no tax since it is like a gift card.

EDIT: It's only $35 for Best Buy Gamers Club members.... it's $39.99 for everyone else.
