So far, I haven't been impressed with it. I signed up for Netflix just for the streaming content, but I'm rather disappointed by the selection available to stream to a media device. All these movies are horribly old, I mean "Big Trouble in Little China?" Are you serious?

Am I missing something here? The movie selection for streaming to XBox seems rather lax to put it mildly.

According to Netflix there is all kinds of licensing issues they are working on at the moment for the service. As they work through them the content list is suppose to grow.

IMO they rolled this out too early on behalf of Microsoft so they could roll it out with there new interface. I am sure if Netflix had their choice it would have waited until the content was there.

At any rate, Netflix is working on it.

Netflix had streaming video before Xbox. It has been out for about a year. The licensing stuff came up because Sony is a big whining cry baby and they are pissed because they didn't think of it first!!!

I tried watching the first couple of Twilight Zone episodes but the sounds did not match the picture. It was off quite a bit. Was not to pleased.

Totally different. There were licensing issues because Netflix only had the rights to distribute content directly. They did not have the appropriate licensing to distribute via XBOX live. That's what I was referring to.

From what I understand they must persue all new licensing agreements. Now factor in Netflix was already having issues with expanding their own "Play it now" titles.

I gave this a try last week, I watched the pilot episode from the series Crash (based on the movie) and I have to admit, I was impressed with the quality. It was full HD, great sound, no problems at all. I have a pretty good internet connection so that probably has a lot to do with it, but I was concerned that it would be choppy or low quality. The system seems to work well, I'll keep up with it and see if they get some newer content soon for the instant view. Once they get their selection up, this will be an awesome idea. I watched it through the XBox 360 if anyone is curious.

After I watched the Twilight Zone which the pic was great and the sound was off. I let my kids watch Ghost Busters and it was just fine.

So far, I have seen the 4 bars when it's doing it's test but have not gotten the FULL HD experience streaming movies. Probably has to do with my connection more then anything. However, the quality was near DVD and was decent with no delay or sound issues. Am satisfied.

Might try upgrading my connection though to see if it makes a difference.
