It's time for everyone's favorite part of the week: The Gainesville Sun Athlete of the Week Poll.
Here are the best of the bunch from high school sports events held March 12th-20th.
Coaches, administrators, friends and family: Please send your nomination, along with their name, stats and why they should be nominated to [email protected] by Sunday afternoon.
The poll will be open until 11:59 p.m. Monday. Please share this poll with friends and family.
Three RBIs and three hits in the Tigers two wins this week over St John's Country Day and Episcopal School of Jacksonville.
“BJ went 2-2 with a walk and run scored against St. Francis and pitched 5 innings with 1 earned run and the win against Branford.” – Adrian Ramos
Six RBIs in the Buccaneers two wins this week over Lafayette and Union County.
Five runs and five hits in the Blue Wave’s games this week vs. Union County, Andrew Jackson and University Christian.
Eight points (four goals and four assists) in the Bobcats two games vs. Fleming Island and American Heritage
Six RBIs in the Tigers 2-2 week
203 yards passing, 32 yards rushing and five total touchdowns in the Bobcats 35-12 win over GHS last Thursday.
Three goals and four assists (seven points) in the Eagles two wins over Forest and American Heritage.
Seven shutout innings vs. Knoxville Central and seven RBIs in the Bobcats 4-0 week in Panama City.
Five goals in the Panthers 11-5 win last Thursday.
Eight runs scored and seven RBIs in the Fightin’ Tigers games this week vs. P.K. Yonge, Bradford, Branford and Dixie County.
10 RBIs in the Bucs three wins this week over Bronson, Bell and Dixie County
