You don't have ONE SINGLE nationally televised game in the regular or pre season, but Denver and Dallas have 8 each!!!! WTF!!!! how am I gonna watch Kasper and Boldin become become the Starsksy and hutch, the Cory Feldman and Cory Freeman, the Davis Spade and Cris Farely of the NFL reseivers! AM I doomed to search around for crappy webcasts of the Cardinals, or try and find a bar w/ the NFL ticket?!!!

Don't worry about it. After we win the Superbowl this year, all our games will be nationally televised. :D

I thought every team was guranteed at least one national game, whether it be Monday Night, a Saturday Night game (We usually get one of those), or the Sunday nighters. Hmmm...

I hope you're refering to the Broncos and not the city...because that would be ironic coming from someone who lives in such an inhospitable environment such as Phoenix! ;)

the networks will be screwed...Dallas will be out of it by midseason and may be the worst team in the NFL..

That's probably why they put the Felons on MNF week 2. I could be wrong but I think only AZ, Houston and Cincinnati do not have Sunday or Monday night games this year.

Hopefully, we'll play ourselves into a regular-season nationally-televised game, like what happened last year for the Cards-'Niners game. Network games (CBS & FOX) are not pre-programmed for what's the "national" games, so they'll put on whatever seems like the "best" matchup if there aren't games of "regional interest" on.

If the Cards start fast, or get into a 3-4 game winning streak, the nation will see the Arizona Cardinals without Sunday Ticket.

What I really hope is that Channel 5 stops thinking that AZ residents want to watch the fifth Denver- or Kansas City-Miami matchup of the season (was I the only one who thinks CBS broadcasts this game about 7 times a year?). Phoenix viewers will miss out on really good games because someone at Channel 5 thinks people here care about the AFC West. Give me Steelers-Browns anyday.

No doubt. I can't stand CBS's coverage. And to boot, ch. 5 comes in like ass on my tv. Always has.

Ugh.... my least favorite "rivalry". Growing up in Louisville we got these two teams (and the Bengals) on TV every single week even though the Cards were right up the street in St. Louis. I'll watch any matchup before Pitt-Cleve.

I think that the next time the re-work the network contracts, the NFL ought to put in a clause that unless two division-leaders are playing in the Daytime on Sunday, then you have to broadcast a Falcons game nationally. The rule should be "When in doubt, televise Mike Vick." You can't go wrong.

My least-favorite rivalry is Cowboys-Cardinals. It's not bad from this side of the aisle, but no one in Dallas cares when they play the Cards. They care if they lose to the Cards, but Troy Aikman never circled the calendar when they went to Phoenix like he did when he headed to Philly, the Meadowlands, or D.C.

I like the Miami-Jets rivalry, because New York owned the 'Fins for like four straight years, and something magical often happened for them to steal victory from the jaws of defeat. It was like a total psyche-out for Miami. Saints-Rams looked like it was going to be a doozy until re-alignment set in. 49ers-Rams is a crappy rivalry because both teams are too soft.

I get Miami games every week here. It seems like the better Miami is, the more likely the Jets are to beat them. It's weird, but there were times when Miami looked unbeatable and the Jets were punching bags and it would seem like the Phins could nothing right agains NY.

Do we have a real rival? Dallas is one, but how much of a rivalry is it? We have no history to speak of with our division rivals.

The Cards are funny, because, at least in the Plummer era, they had a hard time winning games they were "supposed to" win, like the games against the Falcons or Lions two years ago, or the Panthers game last year, but often win games that we have no place even showing up in, like the game two years ago at Philly.

Based on the fact that we're playing them for the third year straight, and have won twice in one shootout and one too-close game, we have a very, very low-profile rivalry with the Lions. We have a history with the Neeners, but they've been more focused on the Rams for the past three years or so. I'd like to see something develop with the Seahawks, since we both have young teams, and hopefully ours will develop to the up-and-coming status that the 'Hawks are at, as St. Louis and San Fran are going to have to start re-building/deconstructing their rosters in the next two years.
