100% disagree.

Since MB took over, things have changed for the better.

No denying that.

We shall see. He took control of the team a little more than 10 years ago, that is a small sample size in comparison.

In one hand he got us to the Superbowl.....and lost, but we got there.

In the other hand he was the head of one of the worst NFL teams in history.

So, he is about even right now.

I would use another word other than interesting.

But, hey, what do I know, the Cardinals have GREAT wide receivers on the roster, and some of the better pass blocking offensive linemen in the league.

Plus our defense is great against the run and getting off the field on 3rd down so teams won't be able to wear down our defense.

This is a slam dunk.

Should of just called it what it is, it's air Coryell in that offense the WR can adjust the route while they are running it based on how they are being covered.

It's essentially the same thing.
So the Cards just brought Don Coryell back from the dead!

I'm all in, then...Just don't let him gontonthe Chargers in 3 years.

A flashy pick that needed to be made by a GM who’s trying to save his job. I really hope I’m wrong and I’d gladly eat crow but my confidence in Keim is about as low as it can get.
At this point I’m just hoping he doesn’t give away all the amazing draft capital for a bunch of junk so he can add a bunch of air raid receivers and lineman.
In Keims defense...if the previously reported stories of wanting McVay are true...and MB picked Wilks...I think Keim finally spoke up to MB and said let the football guys make decisions for your football team, especially if our jobs are on the line.

If the “Talking Heads” only voted on this the results would be completely opposite.

I’ve watched about half a dozen shows this morning and nobody....NOBODY thinks this is a good idea.

Some were upset about the Wilks firing....most cited his Texas Tech record.

ESPN Fake Take was pathetic. Wilks this, Sumlin that. Kingsbury had the 'complexion connection'

They wonder why they are losing viewers by hundreds of thousands a month?

The last two I’ve listened to weren’t knocking it...Dan Patrick and Chris Carter.

Patrick doesn’t like recycled coaches and CC did something most of the others aren’t doing....research and talking to the people who know a few things....most of these guys know nothing about and could care less about the Cards.

My understanding of the air raid offense is it's vertical and it relies on running routes precisely so that the routes become very hard to defend.

Didn't Warner and Fitz run this to perfection? They had the out route to the inside shoulder to an art form.

The logical side of me says this will go down as a spectacular failure.

The emotional side of me says we swung for the fences!
it can be both. often when one swings for the fenses they end up striking out.

I am neutral leaning towards like. We need a long term culture change, to build a team identity based on a culture of football excellence. Part of making that happen is getting a franchise QB and the coach who will pair up with him for the next 15 to 20 years. You cant do that with a 60 year old coach.

I will wait and see, just as I did with wilks... but I am really hoping this is the start of a new "Longest tenured head coach in the NFL" type situation.

Dang, what idiots... they should've hired that coach with the winning track record at running an offense that doesn't need good WRs or pass-blocking O-linemen, and whose winning strategy doesn't require stopping the run or getting off the field on 3rd down. :doi:
