it will be fun to play when I'm older :)

Under 13 hours left and still no bids. :( I'm getting close to having enough money so it may not matter, but I'd like to buy more than 1 game and have more than 1 controller for my brother. You can still get it pretty cheap. $96

Nasser, maybe you should try craigslist.

I sold my xbox with 20 games or so for $125 in about 2 hours. Actually, there was a guy wanting an xbox, and sold it to him with no issues.

Plus you are dealing with local folks.

Just don't fall for the "I'll pay you with money order scams." Make sure to state that it is local only.

Well, it looks like I'm going to get my early birthday present of two games so I could just keep both I guess. :-/

A lot of people I know have a PS3 or have played it and like it... It has all the same games that I'd get if I wanted an Xbox360, it should have better or just as good graphics and I don't have to pay around 75 bucks to get that thing for wirless online gaming. I'd rather have worse online gaming instead of wasting over 125 dollars the first year. The Xbox 360 is probably better overall, but not for me. Unless the PS4 is pretty cool I'll probably switch over to the Xbox 720 when it comes out. :)

You can buy a year card of Xbox live for about $30. You shouldn't game wirelessly anyway. The amount of packet loss you get with wireless, while gaming, is not suitable. For casual web browsing, sure, but not gaming.

You already paid four years worth of Xbox Live with $200 extra with a failing console that is overpriced and rumored to be getting a significant price drop. Good luck with it and the game or two worth playing. Keep your receipt because you will probably be able to price match it pretty soon and get $100 back. Don't post PS3 and online in the same sentence because it really doesn't apply.

No, I'm only getting the $500 one. The $600 one is a waste. They have plenty of fun games to play. Only thing that Xbox has different that's worth buying is Halo and Gears and with my parents I'm not getting those games anyway. I'm mostly a sports guy and their graphics are the best. It may have had some troubles, just like the 360 did when it came out, but it'll be fine. The PS2 outsold the Xbox too I'm pretty sure. You can play other people for free and I'm fine with that. I never played online on this console so anything more is a bonus.

I'll be saving 50 bucks each year for playing the same games. It was fun playing NBA 2k7 with 6 friends at the same time. I like the PS3 a lot and a lot of my friends have it so I can play online with them.

Packet loss?

It's my only option were the TV is at. My friend hasn't had much trouble with it.

Edit: Yeah...asked my other friend and he said the online gaming was fine. I have a really strong connection in my house so I think I'll be good.

So yeah, I agree with you all that the Xbox360 is a little better overall, though I will always put the PSP over the DS, but I already did some research and know this would be the best thing for me to get right now. I've decided. I flip-flopped like 6 times, but I know what I want.

Some poeople will buy the PS3 against better judgement. There always is a minority that for whatever reason thinks an inferior product is superior. It really doesn't sustain anything though. The lack of exclusive titles will kill Sony's machine this time around. The only thing half appealling was the blu-ray player, but now they have a cheaper model out so that effect is gone. Basically it is a flawed, overpriced machine, with almost no exclusives, while the 360 and Wii destroy it in sales every month. It is the gamecube or worse of this generation.

Not really, the PS3 is rated as the best Bluray player out there right now, even over the new models.

I do agree with you that the PS3 has a ton of flaws, but the Bluray player portion right now is a strong +.

The Wii isn't better, it's just so much cheaper than both systems so many people buy it as a 2nd system. And also some of the many, many Asian Nintendo addicts, like my friends, would bye it. Nintendo won't ever be better than Xbox and Playstation. It's always fun to play Mario though I guess, but I would never choose it over a PS3. It's not the Gamecube or worse, it's the 2nd best system out there and not by a huge amount.

Again: PS3 has/will have better graphics, I'll get the same games for both, I save money every year(never played online so anything is a plus), most of my friends have it so I can play online with them, has the bluray player...there's no reason for me to get an Xbox 360. PS3 is better for me and it's not far behind the Xbox either. It's really not that overpriced at all, the $600 one is, but you pretty much get what you need for $500.

So I don't care if the 360 is a little better, because it is. I know the PS3 is the best thing for me to get right now until 6 years from now when they bring out new systems.

I was pointing out that before the new model came out, the blu-ray player was the cheapest on the market, which may have caused very few to buy it just for that reason, but that isn't the case anymore. I wasn't judging the quality of the trojan horse.

I already said that it's better for me to get the PS3. I already listed my reasons. The 360 is not that far ahead either.

Actually it is about 10 million consoles sold ahead and available games aren't close. To say it is far ahead is an understatement. The future of the 360 and Wii are bright. The soon to die PS3 is the only console currently in the news for punchlines, disappointment and failure. Read the links about the great and powerful PS3. People losing jobs, Sony losing out on games, and this could be the first and only year for Madden on the console. Good luck with it.

It's just good to not hear you bashing the Wii anymore. ;)
