Are these kids just stupid? Even if you believe that, why the hell would you say it when everything is scrutinized?Definitely pair him up with Kyler.

Borg.
The fact that he said it is a bigger issue than what he actually said IMO. Some of these dudes really lack basic awareness lol.
UofA broAre these kids just stupid? Even if you believe that, why the hell would you say it when everything is scrutinized?
That takes the edge off it a bit. But still, there’s no GOOD time to make an admission like that. What’s the upside?Apparently it was two years ago but still.

IMO the value of Grant is that he can anchor against the run, but is also extremely effective penetrating to collapse the pocket. He’s like two players in one, giving the Cards maximum flexibility on future DL construction. Two things about the 16 pick to think about as it pertains to DL.
1 - The Cardinals reportedly had a large offer out for Milton Williams as a FA. They didn't ultimately land him, but they also didn't pivot and sign another player to do what Williams does. I think this is important for the Mason Graham, Walter Nolen, and Derrick Harmon crowd. It would be an odd pivot to be willing to spend 20+ mil on a vet to fill that role and then not be willing to use a 1st rounder to do so.
2 - The Cardinals did sign Dalvin Tomlinson to play the NT spot. Not sure if Bilal Nichols is his "back up" but ultimately, neither player looks to be a ling term solution. Could this open up a Kenneth Grant opportunity? Maybe. But it also could land on the Cardinals adding a NT later in the draft vs earlier as a NT role is a little less valuable.
No one I asked knew anything about him. SorryHas anyone seen any tape on the inside linebacker from Valdosta State, Lirpa Sloof?
No. Nobody has. Is he elite? Does he have the bendy bend?Has anyone seen any tape on the inside linebacker from Valdosta State, Lirpa Sloof?
My point ultimately is that you don't want to take a player in round 1 that opposing teams personnel groupings or the game script can take away.IMO the value of Grant is that he can anchor against the run, but is also extremely effective penetrating to collapse the pocket. He’s like two players in one, giving the Cards maximum flexibility on future DL construction.
Man I’m not sure about this logic. My point ultimately is that you don't want to take a player in round 1 that opposing teams personnel groupings or the game script can take away.
You don't want to have a lead with 2 minutes left and your #16 pick is on the bench because the opposing team has to throw the football.
i just want to kill the quarterback quickly as possibleMan I’m not sure about this logic.
Just out of curiosity, what seems off to you?Man I’m not sure about this logic.
Part hippy. Part hooligan. All ham sammich!i just want to kill the quarterback quickly as possible
Not my issue but I don’t see Grant on the bench if I’m correct he can collapse the pocket. Harassing the QB is the key to disrupting a 2 minute drill.Just out of curiosity, what seems off to you?
and if the team thinks this, I am ok with Grant. I referenced it earlier, I am just trying to avoid drafting Dan Williams in round 1. I am not looking for a player that I have no intention of being able to play in key situations. If the Cardinals draft Grant with the intention of using him in those key spots, I am fine with it.Not my issue but I don’t see Grant on the bench if I’m correct he can collapse the pocket. Harassing the QB is the key to disrupting a 2 minute drill.
He was a very good player who was over-drafted for what he could do.This Dumpster Dan slander is making me sad.
Yet we should never have gotten rid of him and struggled after doing so.He was a very good player who was over-drafted for what he could do.
No one I asked knew anything about him. Sorry
Your humor certainly indicates a shinning wit.Catch one every year.
Lirpa (April) Sloof (Fools).
I don't think this is necessarily true, with Campbell being here one year, maybe two at most.with the Calais signing -- it sure looks like EDGE or OL at 16 / round 1
