The more I think about this, the more I would prefer Monti just dealing the entire draft to get two 1st rounders. Take Nolan at 16 and Simmons at 24.

The roster is full depth wise already. There is plenty of cap space to add more. Just swing big

took a million years to get to the draft - another 2 million years before training camp - suns went bust and i can't watch baseball 8 days a week - im freakin dyin' over here - binge watching bull ish - plus it's about to be 400° outside - wish i could go to vegas and hang out in the dead parking lot for a couple few months
At least the draft will give us some new crap to argue about lol

From what I've read he has all the tools to be great. The Cardinals have the luxury of redshirting him for a year.
That said, any of the 5 guys on Gambo's list seem to be high character coach able players. And I would be happy with any of them. Three of them could be available at 16.
.
I’m not against redshirting the 16th pick considering he would’ve been the 4th pick if not for injury. At that point we’d be getting the best OT with 3 inferior OT’s going before him.

He has will Johnson falling out of the first round altogether?!? That would be shocking to me.

Michigan CB Will Johnson has a knee issue that’s been flagged. It shouldn’t affect him in the short term, but teams are concerned it could impact his longevity. Add to the questions on Johnson’s long speed, which were not allayed when he decided not to run a 40, and the Wolverine star could slide.

Kenyon Green was drafted by the Texans at pick 15 in 2022. He has been close to a bust and his 5th year option is for 16.685 mil. You picking that up?

Obviously no you don’t pick up the 5th year option for a player who doesn’t deserve it. Hence why I said players who proved that they can play. If Booker ends up being as described then you pick up his 5th year option.

God, that would be terrible drafting. We are in no position roster wise to redshirt our 1st round picks.

While I agree, redshirting Garrett Williams has worked out so far.

I just think he wouldn't be worth it overall. I'm only redshirting a blue chip talent in round one.
