I went to that game last night. I don't think he had his best stuff, but he pitched efficiently and tried to stay out of trouble situations. That Home Run by the Commanders first baseman was a blast!

It's amazing Gallen and Kelly were both on pace for 20 win seasons. It's been awhile to have two guys doing that in a season.

Strikeout/Walk ratio is about the same, but he's obviously learned the art of pitching and putting the ball where it can be put in play, to allow the defense to do their job.
