I'm sticking with my 2 win prediction
But we keep the old, mid ones. The Cards problem with keeping their own talent continues.
11?? Isn’t it 8?Seemed inevitable. We are building for the 2024 season. Not only will they not pay their own players top money this offseason, I don't think we'll pay any free agents significant money as well.
What do we have, 11 picks right now in the draft? I see them clearing the way to play all the rookies for development. They'll focus on getting Kyler healthy and then we'll have a ton of cap space to go spend next offseason. Just a prediction.
Every team tries this approach and most fail. And what is the point when you don’t re-sign them.Seemed inevitable. We are building for the 2024 season. Not only will they not pay their own players top money this offseason, I don't think we'll pay any free agents significant money as well.

And yet he was still our second best defensive front player.Allen missed 22 games in 4 years. I'm ok not paying him $15 million a year.

Nahhh that was WattArguably our best
lol. Imagine going directly to excuse-making for Michael’s second choice for the role.Failure is more on Keim than Monti.
Byron and Allen played well enough in 2021 that Keim could have gotten ahead of it.
We have top 10 cap space right now. The price will only go up next year. Cap space isn’t going to rush the passer in 2023.Seemed inevitable. We are building for the 2024 season. Called it a couple weeks ago… the dreaded “building the belly of the beast” and “keeping our powder dry!” Off-season looks like it might be rearing its ugly head again.we’ll get’Em next year is Dave McGinnis territory
Steve Keim would have overpaid Allen and Murphy to stay since those were his guys. I just have a feeling that the "Patriot" way, aka Monti way, is going to be to build primarily through the draft.Every team tries this approach and most fail. And what is the point when you don’t re-sign them.
If you have us that low then sit Kyler out for the season. Plan to move him.I have us at 3.
You have to wonder if Allen is here if we sign Payton and keep Vance
Cap Space does pay for fired coaches and a plane thoughlol. Imagine going directly to excuse-making for Michael’s second choice for the role.

Yeah personally I loved Allen and it was cool to see him grow every year. Again, I'm just thinking about the "Patriot" way. They let go of Chandler freaking Jones, it isn't surprising to me that the new regime didn't resign Allen, especially considering next year already seems like a wash of a season.lol. Because Maye and Williams will have as much hype as any QB in a while.
I’m betting he’s here if we just retained VJ many of the players really liked him. But if that was the cost I’ll pass. You have to wonder if Allen is here if we sign Payton and keep Vance
Is that even financially possible after next year? You need Kyler to come back late and play well to move him
