Got my I-pod going on shuffle right now... Bigtime diverse set of songs... Just went from Earth, Wind & Fire's September, to Faith Hill's Lucky One, to Alicia Keys Unbreakable, to Crosby, Still & Nash's Our House, to Clapton's Pretending, Fleetwood Mac's Everywhere & Landslide, to a bunch of Genesis, to Gwen Stefani's Luxurious, to JT's Mexico & Carolina In My Mind, to Janet Jackson's All for You, and a bunch of Keith Urban & Chesney...

I just like really good music - period...
Is it really an iPod? Can't find those now they stopped making them.

My wedding song to my wife!

We lasted the years
In spite of the tears
And here we are hand in hand
It might have ended but somehow we blended
With time we did understand

In my heart there is a special place for you
If only for the faith you have in me
So for always you'll be my special girl
At the center of my world
Here's to you

It took us a while
But we'll walk down the aisle
And willingly say 'I do'
The ring on your finger
Will prove that forever I'm devoted to you

In my heart there is a special place for you
If only for the faith you have in me
So for always you'll be my special girl
At the center of my world
Here's to you

Oh I was so lucky
To have found someone like you
'Cause you left the door wide open to me
And now I'm stepping in to the love that lies within
Ooh ooh ooh!...

In my heart there is a special place for you
If only for the faith you have in me
So for always you'll be my special girl
At the center of my world
So Here's to you!

So for always you'll be my special girl
At the center of my world
Here's to you

Here's to you.....

I fell in love with Lauryn Hill after the Fu-Gee-La video. It’s a shame that she has struggled with her mental health over the years and cancelled her Phoenix show this week
This brought me to the Fugees - Ms Hill along with the rest were talents, but all 3 have had struggles of various forms

I was really into them though - I was actually more excited to see their performance when they were on a show with ATCQ and I absolutely love Tribe

This song by Elvis Presley still gives me chills.

Elvis Presley: Tomorrow Never Comes Outtake (Second Take)
Great song especially for those of us that like that type of song. I first picked up a copy of it by Ernest Tubb at the Phoenix Greyhound Park swap meet in 62 I believe. Along the way I ended up with copies of the song by BJ Thomas, Glen Campbell, Statler Brothers, Loretta Lynn in addition to versions by Elvis. And IMO the only weak version is Loretta's. But to be fair, even though I'm a life long C&W fan, I never cared for her voice.

When I was younger, I was never a huge fan of Elvis. Now looking back, his talent was off the wall, especially after he matured as a singer.

How Elvis kicked it into gear in that take second take was amazing.

JMHO, but many of today's singers do not display that kind of talent. It has to be out there, but I don't know why we don't see more of it.

I can appreciate talent whether I like a song or not. Everyone has different musical tastes and I understand that, but I'm not hearing many great voices anymore.

Btw, I have tried to private message you, but without success. If I'm intentionally blocked, that's okay, but I wanted to make sure you were aware of it.

I'm an older guy now (61), but am always on the lookout for new music. I am absolutely convinced that Jacob Collier is a modern day Mozart. I don't say that frivolously at all. Absolutely amazing talent. (5 or 6 Grammys now I think.)

This is a beautiful but devastatingly sad piece from his new album:
