Could well be determined by injuries as they're evenly matched with everyone healthy. The Clips figure to be more dinged up by the tough 7 game match with the Spurs. I think their best chance is to surprise Houston in game 1. You'd think McHale would be too playoff experienced to let that happen but its hard to to keep guys focused when they feel they have an advantage. I think Houston pulls it out in seven games.

Outside of the Cavaliers, these are my two least-favorite teams in the entire league. As Errntknght said, it could be decided by injuries. I probably hate the Clippers a bit more, and I actually like McHale, so I'm gonna go with the Rockets.

if Paul's 80%, it's the Clippers n 7. If he's seriously hampered by the hammy, Rockets in 5... which would be a shame. A GS-LA series would be awesome. Two great offenses and they freaking hate each other with a passion you don't see in the league much anymore.

Rooting for the Clippers. Rockets have more unlikable players imo.

Clippers have outplayed the Rockets the last few seasons. In fact, Harden has had a lot of bad games against the clippers. You stop him, the series is over quick. That's taking into account CP3's injury. The blessing in disguise is that the Rockets only have two old tired guards who are career bench players...And past their prime.
Even a hobbled CP3 still gives the Clippers the edge. Now that we ( Clippers fan) don't have to face a top perimeter defense, expect more of Redick, Crawford (Rockets killer), and Barnes to have easier looks in this series. Don't be fooled by their (Rockets) first round win to the hobbled and turmoiled Mavs. That should have been a sweep considering what happened with Rondo in the middle of the series. Don't be fooled by Josh Smith either. he's coming back down to earth in this series...Book it.

3 things certain in Life:

1. death
2. Taxes
3. Clippers beating the Rockets in 6 games. Maybe 5.

This crap with the fouling intentionally is the worst thing ever in the NBA. I will not watch another game of this series. Totally ridiculous. Yeah guys, this is totally fun to watch for the fans. I hated it when it was hack a shaq and I still hate it, but this is a whole new level.Terrible to watch. Congrats to the Clippers, but I'm totally out for the rest of this series.

Like I said, the Clippers in 6...Maybe 5 games. I told you Harden has bad games against us. He's unable to get to the line as frequently as he does with everyone else. That is why I know this is a short series....Even if we have to play without CP3 on Wednesday.

I'm happy for the Clippers. I love sticking it to Lakers fans that their "little sisters" are doing better than them.

No doubt. Kobe probably now wishing he played for the other NBA team so he can get that 6th ring he wants so badly to match Jordan. Heck, maybe he goes ring chasing after his current contract and joins the Clippers!

He can even say "I know I'm leaving the Lakers but I still wanted to remain loyal to Los Angeles...."

:p

Poor showing last night by Houston, Paul out, homecourt, and they don't take care of business. Not good.

Brewer sucked it up and other rockets on jump shots. A lot weren't contested or difficult shots. They just can't shoot. That's when the clips went on that run in the third (I think) to take control of the game

Griffin gets a lot of crap from people here, but he really is the full package at this point. He gets to the rim at will, has an okay jumper, but it's his PASSING that makes him so dangerous. That little touch alley-oop pass to Jordan is a play that maybe one other player of his size makes and that guy's name is Lebron.

dude's averaging 26/13/8 with 1.5 steals and blocks in the playoffs. that's an insane stat line.

Oscar Robertson is the only other player in his territory. Or shall I say, BG is the only other player in Robertson Territory. LBJ or Jordan never put up those numbers.

tough second half for Griffin so far. I thought we were about to see some legendary stuff from him tonight, but only has 5 second half points after 26 first half.

still playing great, but Clips really could have stepped on Houston's throat tonight.

Blake had 8 second half pts. If your the Clippers, you have be happy just like the Bulls. You both got a split against the #2 seeded team in your conference. For the Clippers, you even have reinforcements coming your way in CP3.

Clippers beat the Rockets without its best player on the road and nearly did it again tonight. LA is in much better shape than Chicago, who got emasculated by Cleveland tonight.

Cleveland is clearly the superior team to Chicago. Not sure Houston can say that about it versus LA. Chicago may feel happy, but they're about to get blitzed.
