The concern is that it'll be that way in the draft as well.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people here talked about how sucky this FA group was. Expecting the Cards to hoover up every good players seems unrealistic. There were a lot of terrible deals yesterday, I'd rather avoid them.

Such an awful take. You can turn around a team real quick in this league - and that simply isn’t purely through the draft. There is unlimited examples of this. It shouldn’t be a 3 year rebuild… hence why other teams are being so aggressive. So I laugh at you, who thinks the slow play is the way in the NFL here in 2024.

Couldn’t agree more.. but we should strive more than a 1st round exit. SF, Rams and Seattle sure look much weaker - even more reason to pounce now!

SF for sure. This is the year it all caught up with them. And I am far from certain where Stafford's head is and if Darnold will replicate what he did in Minnesota or what he did in Carolina with Seattle

Can’t argue that point about our Qb. I thought with all the $$$ we had that the plan was to remove every and any excuse holding back Murray.

Exactly. We know they were in on Fries and Williams, but I don't want to pay Fries $18m or WIlliams $26m so I'm fine seeing other teams massively overpay. The difference between Fries and Hernandez is minimal, I'd rather try get Will back for $8-10m.

The Chargers had $20m more cap space than us and brought in Najee Harris and Donte Jackson. The Seahawks had $10m less and have brought in just Darnold and Josh Jones.

The Pats and Commies made a bunch of moves as they both have cheap QB's for the next 4 years, and I think most of their moves suck.

Firstly, half the players you think we should have signed the team probably doesn't even consider scheme fits. Half of what's left are cooked and you just don't know it yet. Do you think the Commanders released Jonathan Allen and paid Javon Kinlaw $15m per (just lol) because they think Allen is still Allen? His pass rush win rate has declined every year for the last 3 years and was below 10% for the first time last year.

It's been 2 days. The histrionics are just sad to watch.
