Maybe if it's a team friendly 2nd year. I'm concerned about when time will eventually catch up to him.OK 2

I mean they can’t let him walk after this season, that’s for sure.IDC if he’s approaching 30. Give him a 3-year extension
There is no doubt he is the heart and soul of this team. I would get his agent and talk to him about what it would take to get a two year extension right now. Not just for him, but for the morale of the rest of the team as well.I mean they can’t let him walk after this season, that’s for sure.
Yeah the agent probably wants 3 for sure but I’d sign a 2 year extension tonight. There is no doubt he is the heart and soul of this team. It's really all about the guaranteed money. Two v three should be pretty easy to work out given the amount of cap space we have.Yeah the agent probably wants 3 for sure but I’d sign a 2 year extension tonight.
Pay him, it’s a no brainer…It's really all about the guaranteed money. Two v three should be pretty easy to work out given the amount of cap space we have.
It isn't rocket science. If Monti doesn't get some kind of extension done in the next month he is an incompetent boob.Pay him, it’s a no brainer…
It would give all the fans a "feel good" opinion about the team. And, also include Budda. JMO.I think it would be a mistake to give a 30 year old running back a 3 year deal.
haha, no. Keim, is that you?IDC if he’s approaching 30. Give him a 3-year extension
Pretty off with your call out here. I hated the signing and banged on him a while because he was always injured and fumble prone, but as he solidified him in the desert, have relented and admitted he was a great signing. Hit the reset button, @ShaneIn fairness he has softened just a tad lately
Have to bring him back. Three years would be Keim-ish, unless the third year is an easy out. Two, maybe, but again, want an out. But he has to come back at least for another year.It isn't rocket science. If Monti doesn't get some kind of extension done in the next month he is an incompetent book.
Conner yes. Budda no way.It would give all the fans a "feel good" opinion about the team. And, also include Budda. JMO.
Had we lost, I think it was a done deal he'd be gone by the trade deadline.Conner yes. Budda no way.
I’ve been a Cards fan since I moved to AZ in 2003. He’s the best RB the Cards have had in my time as a fan.
It just depends on the structure. You can give him a 3rd year as long as it costs little to get out of.Have to bring him back. Three years would be Keim-ish, unless the third year is an easy out. Two, maybe, but again, want an out. But he has to come back at least for another year.
For as good as he is and has been, he is aging.
Loved what Orlovsky said about JG considering him an assistant coach. On a young team that needs solid veteran leadership he is essential.I’ve been a Cards fan since I moved to AZ in 2003. He’s the best RB the Cards have had in my time as a fan.
Did Otis Anderson play for us, after the team moved to Arizona?
After a year and a half, Stump Mitchell emerged as the Cards' top running back, and the expendable Anderson was traded to the New York Giants in the middle of the 1986 season.[1]Did Otis Anderson play for us, after the team moved to Arizona?
I would guess you mean a 15 mil sighing bonus? If that the case his cap hit year one is 11 mil but you're paying him 21? I think that is a bit rich for the first year. And you have no Injury protection. I would think if you do that he would only get 2 million in base salary the first year then split the 8 remaining at 4 and 4.I dunno
3 years, 25mil, 15mil guaranteed...salaries of 6mil,2mil, 2mil.... I would be happy with that
not sure JC would sign it but its easy for the team
