Very good! The D has holes but they are doing what they need to. The rookies are coming along nicely! The draft class is starting to look like it was nailed imo! This coaching staff is killing it including Petzing! We have 31 points on the board halfway through the 3rd Quarter against a top...

at risk of taking the thread off on a new direction: back in that time when I knew people who had insight on how the team was run -- the take was that the HC was a co-equal with the GM. Further, if the HC won games, he got much of what he wanted.

there is an argument to be made that Arians had much to do with that stretch.

Edit: the real critique is for BIM and others who share bad/fake content from fringe accounts because they make em feel good or whatever.

Best I have seen is 56 percent, but that was before the Niners got themselves beat by sheattle.... so 75 percent doesnt sound so wrong to me...if one extrapolates our chances of winning our upcoming games Vs the chances for the other teams to win theirs.

But its the internet....worse,...Twitter.... and that graphic while not attached to any particular site is no more or less wrong than the ones that categorize all the teams from "Super Bowl Bound" all the way down to "Sucks swine pharts while huffing helium"

I’m hoping beyond hope that the percentages as they are work out. Here’s my two percentage projections

If we win Sunday we will be 100% happy.
Lose? We will be 100% miserable.

Our enthusiasm and optimism is the highest it’s been in over 3 years.
The football gods have us perfectly set up for a huge letdown.

I think it would depend on the manner of the loss. Another Green Bay-style loss, and yeah, it would really sour the mood. I wouldn't be happy with any loss, per se, but some would be more bearable than others.

There are a number of interactive NFL playoff predictors / simulators, which provide varying levels of insight into their methodologies. Joanna Cards Fan's graphic appears to have come from Pro Football Network. Their simulator is fun to use but I'm not sure what settings were used to generate Joanna's graphic or why their numbers would be significantly higher than others'.

I like the simulators at ESPN, NY Times, and a few others that I have bookmarked but not handy right now; I may come back and edit to add later.

NFL.com, FiveThirtyEight, PlayoffStatus.com, and Washington Post also have detailed NFL projections, but they're not interactive.
