What is this Ryland worship.

30 yard field goals are not hard, even as game winners. The level of praise this guy gets on here is beyond absurd.
Dude, you have no idea how hard this board will come down on you if he misses one this week.
I'd cross everything you can, wear what you wore during last week's win and go to confession before Sunday's game. I believe in evolution but hey, you never know!!!

Yeah… the kid is hitting 91% of his FGA, 100% PATs, hit some 50+ and is 3/3 on game winners, two of them on the road.
This.

Not only has he not missed a kick so far from any distance (one was blocked), but every kick has been right down the middle of the uprights. He hasn't even been close to missing one.

He definitely seems to have gotten more air under his kicks staying away from being blocked!

Yall can’t seriously be throwing any shade rylands way. I like prater and he has been good for us…but Ryland has been lights out and is several DECADES younger. It would be high level foolishness to bail on Ryland now.

Jalen Thompson injury more serious than expected if he’s still not practicing. With rabbit also hopping on to the injury list- hope this isn’t a big deal.

I’m really hoping that we see Jonah starting Sunday and beach gets a little break. Would be stoked to see Robinson get worked into the rotation

Ryland is a keeper, there is more than just making 30 yarders. His kicks pass the eye test. I am not a fan of Praters dog leg right kicks and his age screams of falling off a cliff at any minute

I'm oddly apprehensive about Williams playing. I think Beachum has done a great job and I don't like messing with what is working.

"great" job? lol.. no.

I appreciate the old warrior stepping into the breach once more, but we're asking too much of him to be an every game starter.

I like him, we'll get to see how he does in wet weather Sunday

All things considered, I think he has done a great job, yes. I can't say he's been leaky in pass pro or that he's been weak in the run game.

If nothing else, he helped Drew decide how we run our offense. Because they scheme him help more often than not and we rarely run behind him.
I like Beach, but Williams won the starting job for a reason... just hope it doesnt take too long for him to gel with the starters

with divisional rivals it often don't matter who the better team is - but who the aggressor is

im okay with some defensive penalties this week - im not encouraging them lol well maybe i am but nothing cheap - but if you see a clock that needs cleaning...

this is gonna be a fight - we're probably going to find out just how good our fg kicker is - we better be up to the line with plenty of time and that silent snap count better be on time

Tell that to the fans of the Chicago Bears.
Why? Santos hasn't missed from inside 40 all season.
and vikings
Why? Reichard has only missed two FG's all season, including one inside 40 yards, and both were in the week 1 win vs. the Colts. Romo hasn't missed all season.

What am I missing in calling out the Bears and Vikings w.r.t. 30 yard FG's?!

I’m not referring to the season. I’m referring to their like last 10 years of bad luck with kickers. Their kickers generally have been awful. Especially in crunch time even from short distance.

Uhh..? Here’s a better question, what’s not to like? He wears an ugly number for a kicker?
Ok fine he's doing his job. My point is that almost every kicker on every team does their job.

People on here act like he is somehow singlehandedly responsible for our win streak, when in truth he is not doing anything that 25 other kickers and Prater would do.
