Petzing has been below average most of the year.

Today was just the cheery on top of a crap sandwich.

He is not good with adjustments and his game plans lack depth.

The bootleg should be a staple of our offense but isn’t.

JC should never be ran on stretch plays.

Screens should have been used today.

Designed runs for K1 should be in every game.

The NFL is not a place for coordinators to learn on the job. Petzing is learning and costing us.

I mean you make some good points. The little waggle/half roll out to McBride is open every time. And some bootlegs might have worked today.

I'm not saying DP was all world vs. SEA, I'm just saying the oline was beaten so badly it's really hard to evaluate the play calls that were made.

I think their defensive players out played our offensive players. They won the one-on-one match ups most of the time.

Look, don't sweat it too much man. The NFL has done a really good job of creating parity. Games like this are bound to happen. Division foe. On the road. Meaningful game for both teams.

We came back from the WAS and GB beatdowns. We can come back from this disappointing, but hard fought and competitive loss.

I fully expect us to 2-1 over this 3 week stretch.

The O-line got whooped. Kyler got shook. Conner looked tired. Marvin looked average.

On to the next one. This game can be a success if it forces some needed changes.

Here are some crazy stats from Leonard Williams today:

Pressures - 9 (3 under 2.5 seconds)
QB Hits - 4
Sacks - 2.5
% of snaps being double teamed - 28

The interior of this O-line is not very good.

That’s my thought as well.

That said, the other thought is we’ve seen this Kyler Murray before in the second half of seasons. If he’s truly the man, he’s got to pick up the team next week and ball out.
Yeah unfortunately my mind went to “are we really gonna have another Kyler injury second half of season meltdown?

It’s so sad brother. They really hope that the team is going to get rid of the guy despite K1s play. They expect us to go undefeated and when we don’t they are on the attack.

Today was a bad loss but in no way a reason to jettison the Qb.
Literally no one is calling for this.

McBride is unguardable. He’s literally always open and the fact he’s got no TD’s catches might be the biggest statistical anomaly in the NFL this year.
He’s been pretty open in the endzone a few times this season and murray has just missed him. It’ll come. Dude is a stud.

D was good until final drive when they needed to get the ball back and not give up points. They allowed an 8+ minute drive and a fg to out game outta reach. Disappointing on a day where they did enough to win.

Oline was embarrassed today. Every one of them. Hopefully they bounce back.

I understand we weren’t running well early, but I think petzig went away from it too early. Would’ve liked to seen more screens.

Murray’s pocket presence was awful today. He made some back decisions. The pick six was just awful. Can’t put up -1 total points.

Hopefully we bounce back next week.

Should've called them on defense. You save ~40 seconds every time. On offense if you hurry you can get the next play off in 10-15.
Even the Seattle fan next to me questioned that.

I think we might see a bit more of Benson in the Vikings game. The thing there is on the turf it seems to favor speed, and Benson is much faster than Conner. So might have a package or a drive or two where Benson is in and we try to use his speed.

I was ok with usage today, wet ball tough game you are a little concerned with a rookie handling it so I was ok with Conner getting most of the work even when it wasn't working. But I won't be surprised if Benson plays a bit more next week

poo happens.

Seahawks defensive gameplan was spot on. O line didn't play well. Kyler didn't play well. Too many dudes dumping on Petzing here, he's been good, hard to call a good game when your gameplan is out the window because your O line poo the bed.

The whole thing probably came down to the O line having a bad day. If the interior plays better it's probably a different game.

Defense was great though. So bonus there.

The pick 6 really sealed it. Without that the momentum in Q4 is completely different.

Disappointing that our offense keeps letting the side down more than the defense as that's where all the talent is, and disappointing to miss a huge opportunity to take a big division lead.

Next up, one of the best defenses in the league...

Greg Dortch is one of the most over hyped Cardinals of all-time. He has 18 yards in the past 5 games combined, and he seems to have a mental error or two every week. I think it's time to extinguish the Dortch because it ain't getting lit this year.

Also, what is up with Zay Jones? I know the offense is using a lot of heavy sets, but the guy has 1 catch in 5 games. It seems like Drew should he able to fit him in more than that.

And here we go again, trade Murray, fire Petzing. How near sighted are you guys? Look into the future. We have the easiest remaining schedule compared to everyone else in the NFC west. Take a breath, count to ten, if you can (yes, that is sarcasm)

come on, no players or coaches were even born yet. And do you really think kids in school are studying the history of the cardinals? LOL
Yes we do have the easiest schedule but the Panthers took the Chiefs to the wire yesterday so there's that.

He had a bad game today. Hopefully it’s an aberration. Can you not just admit it without having to insult posters?
Some sites already saying he was the worst QB of week 12. They make it clear that his performance was even worse than others because of how well he had been playing before the bye week.

I agree with all your takes except it's a little harsh to downgrade Murray's pocket presence for this game when it was basically a jailbreak on on every five and seven step drop back.

But I'm certainly not saying he played well. It might have been (embarrassingly for me after popping off in the debate thread earlier this week) his worst game of the year.

Anyway, I think it was just a bad spot on the schedule, but we'll see.

Also, Ouchie, I know you're super duper busy with work and fam, but if there's any way you could make it to the 12/15 home game, would like to meet my ASFN arch-nemesis in person! :)
