IMO Murray has shown who he is. A QB that will give you 3-4 All Pro games, and 3-4 crap the bed games. The rest very average NFL QB play which all adds up to an average season. After all these years just don’t think he can elevate this team like top tier QBs can

He chokes when it counts. Every team he’s been the QB of has faded at the end, through two different regimes. He is the common dominator, he has to take the fall for that.

Kyler was the bad pick then and not the qb that should be leading us in the future.


The only time I'm comfortable watching him play is when he runs the ball. That's it.

Draft a QB so he can grow with Harrison.

Huh? A lot of us picked this team to win 7-10 wins. Not many picking 4 or 5. Also, those of us picking 7-10 didn’t expect it to come with the annual Panicman Checkdownberg second half swoon which makes the improvement in wins a hollow “win” at best.

Ime with ya and yes I did see some post on here saying 4-5 wins but 7-9 would be a pretty damn good all be it dissapointing ie K1 season considering the defensive lack of talent injuries and schedule etc Ime wondering also like many if K1 has what it takes so far my answer is No and thats under KK which was supposed to be tailored to him and the current staff

The season ended today. Lose out to improve draft position. That will probably happen anyway whether they are trying to or not. The Cards (and KM) always fold in the second half of the season. Every year.

I think most of us agree that Murray is not the answer at QB. I blame Keim and Kingsbury for deciding to draft him. Kingsbury wanted him and Keim agreed to it. Kingsbury had visions on Murray plum fairies dancing in his head.The only way to get out from under his contract at a reasonable dead cap number is to trade him pre June 1st. According to OTC his cap hit would be $28.6 million if he was traded before June 1st. Otherwise Murray is an albatross on the cap.

Raiders will most likely be at #1 to draft Sanders. Why would they trade for a QB?

I actually love his father as a football player, sans his tackling, which you would totally live with if you got a guy of Neon Deion's talent. I just don't trust the kid to do well as a QB in the NFL.

Regardless, they’re most likely going Sanders, especially with the Brady-Sanders connection. Raiders won’t entertain a QB trade.

That would leave us with the Giants, Titans and Jets (if they end the Rodger's experiment after this season) or is there any other team I am forgetting right now?

The Cards needed to be able to beat Seattle at home. Geno shows a lot of heart and is a good player, but the Seahawks will get destroyed by an elite defense come playoff time. The Cards need to get a pass rusher big time. Kyler could learn from Geno. When Kyler's posture went south after pick #1 it was over. Little pouty face.

You don’t move on from Kyler without a better option available. Until I see one, it would be a mistake to move off him.

And if you’re finding one of those guys, try to find the next Geno Smith, Darnold etc, use Kyler to get any kind of draft capital and move the hell on.

I suggest a sports psychologist for Kyler. After the first pick he sulked, pouted. Then just got more aggressive and threw another. He has a lot of talent and leaves so much out on the field. I feel this is it as he enters his 7th year. This is where the bad habits have to be worked with. He needs to utilize his dual threat the way it was meant. He needs to take what the D is giving a little more.

With 100 million in cap room, we can take that hit and still sign FAs.

There’s no reason to continue this failed experiment. None.
