So. Expect the Cards to be 8-7 after beating the Panthers next week. That leaves two conference games — at Rams and then at home against 49ers. Do we finish 9-8 or 10-7? I so hope it’s 10-7. The Rams game is pivotal, of course. You can’t get to 10-7 without getting to 9-7. What do you think?
One game a time for me

Finishing over .500 would be big

10-7 would be unreal and could put us in the playoffs'

Hard to tell with this team which team will show up for these games

And it seems like the pressure to win games we melt

Rams are hot and we are not. We would have to play our best game of the season to beat them.

Ya’ll might hate this post but possibly winning out to go 10-7, even while missing the playoffs, would still be a success.

Yea I know what happened the last couple of games but going from 3-14 to 10-7 would be a massive improvement, despite how frustrating it looked.

That being said, I don’t expect us to win out.

James Conner's 1,334 yards from scrimmage are the second most he's had in a season. JC had 1,470 in his second NFL season with the Steelers. Conner has now scored at least 8 touchdowns in all four seasons with the Cards.
Have to really like the hard work he puts in every week

No matter how the team is playing he gives his full effort

We will be lucky to beat the Panthers. Let’s worry about that first.

Kyler Murray on the near-INT:"He hit me in the head. Thankfully they called a flag. I got to obviously protect the ball better but was just trying to make a play. Can't do that."

Super dumb play by K1. Can’t be throwing the ball up in our end zone like that.

Defense played well, and the offense actually wasn’t great. Super concerned about CHJ not being able to separate. Trey is our best receiving option. Petzings offense is horrific.

We get to 9 wins and the season is a for sure success.

You know we take all these rushing yards for granted with this team

I remember how many games we played and anything over75 yards and we were happy

Thanks for posting stats - but those are not the correct final stats for the game.

E.g. McBride ended up as the leading receiver with 10-9-87. And Conner finished with 16-110 rushing.

This was not one of the games in our split season tickets with friends. On an impulse, I jumped on SeatGeek this morning and bought 2 in section 419 for $20 each and went.

Pleasant surprise.... It turned to be by far the most fun I have had at a Cards game in a long time. Even more than when I was at the Rams game this year. It was a lot of fun, with people into it. Very unlike Ring of Honor where we have been sitting. The flags were best giveaway in a long time, and people used them.

You can nitpick this, that or the other thing. You can every game. But we were never threatened with a loss today. Satisfying to get to 7-7 given the alternative. See what happens next week!

Well…if you don’t lay the throw in front of the WR the separation is kinda wasted.
It could have been further out in front sure but just as the announcer said, Marv has to learn in the NFL you either get the ball at the highest point, or as soon as you get your hands on it you turn your body to protect the ball. It was a great play by Gonzalez but it also showed the inexperience of Marv, as the announcer said in college that's a TD, in the NFL CB's are better and you have to protect the ball or they will break it up.

I thought for the most part he had a very tough time getting any separation from Gonzalez, the one time he did was that play where he came out of the slot through the traffic. In fact the only real success he had in the game was again from the slot, outside 1 on 1 he really couldn't shake him
