Suns @ Nuggets Monday game thread 12-23-2024

On Monday the Suns visit the Nuggets at Ball arena in Denver.

Then on Wednesday, the Nuggets return the favor and visit the Suns in Phoenix.

Phoenix is now 14-13 for the season.

The Nuggets are 14-11. They play at the Pelicans on Sunday.

Very real chance we fall below 500 after facing Denver. The year is young so record doesn't mean everything but back to back losses to Denver do mean something. This team was originally constructed to overtake Denver after the first postseason with KD was ended by the Nuggets.

Part of me wants to get throttled to force a change but I can already hear James Jones using Booker's injury as an excuse. Missing one of our Mid 3 isn't a bug, it's a feature. We need to plan for that.

What's the over/under on how much we get blown out? 20, 30, 40? Not a lot of fun being a Suns fan right now.

I'm curious if we'll lose by more in Denver tonight or the return game in Phoenix on Wednesday.

I wish I could bet on that. Typical Suns getting roasted by 25 or so today and claiming to have improved by only losing by half that 2 days later..
