    how about stallings ready to throw down with the refs.....what a firecracker those uniforms were absolutely awesome.....very tough. Its too bad the cards had to re-invent themselves are were pressured to get a fresh look because those uni's would still look good today!

From what I can remember hearing---- the cards were all set to move out of Comiskey park and move into Dyke Stadium on the northside (where northwestern university plays) but...

    Cards fans currently living in Chicagoland area.

    live on the southside.... there's still a group that goes to Schallers Pump in Bridgeport right by Sox Park. Up until recently, some actual players from the old chicago days went up there.....I think a fullback from the 50's team went there. People underestimate just how many fans in chicago...
