I'm a firm believer that "democratic-fascism" works in sports management. Democracy inludes the inputs of management, coaches, players, opinion leaders and makers in the media, and even the fans... but, in the end - "fascism" in the form of hard and fast decisions by the Coach is what makes...

Finally, the truth revealed about last years draft!

Good points... but, one can also be a prisoner of one's source. Because of the so-called "trust" - anonymity is used to forward personal agendas. Would it be so far-fetched that former coaches who may be still looking for jobs, might have an axe to grind? And believe me... you don't have...

Enjoyed the read... but, if your right... how the hell did he get an estimated 40 million dollar contract out of Denver, and Shanahan saying earlier this week that they'll pick up his option. What you listed as requirements for success could cover just about every QB since Sammy Baugh. And...

Duh! The Colts effectively shut down Denver's running game, the key to staying on the field, and again... that's Jake's fault. Didn't know he had take responsibility for the piss poor job by his offensive line. How many drive killing penalties did Neil have...? ... 5...

So if we put the Denver team in Cardinal Red... Jake's still in Arizona. P.S. at the end of this game the great Peyton Manning, who has tools galore (and has had for years)... will be tied with Jake in playoff wins...

Manning has what? 5 touchdown passes.... and you can interpret that ass kicking of the Denver defence as somehow Jake's fault! Geez... if he's such a liability... wonder why Denver didn't hire that strong armed guy we ended up with last off season. :wave:

Same old Plummer ? He's the 5th ranked QB in the NFL... 9 - 2 as a starter during the season... Don't remember that kind of ranking when he was in Arizona... Anyone who'd blame Jake for this debacle isn't watching the same game I'm seeing. Manning has shredded the Denver defense... and...
