    Honestly, the answer was to draft both Robinson and Sweat instead of Robinson and Melton. Maybe the Cardinals could have packaged 3rd round picks to move up and get him if they still wanted him, but there was definitely more CBs available at pick 35 than DL.

    Denver paid John Franklin Meyers 7.5 mil over 2 years in FA this year. 3 sacks and 6 pressures. Monti paid Justin Jones and Bilal Nichols a combined 17 mil per year. 0 sacks and 2 pressures.

    They use him mostly as a nickel corner. The reason he plays so many snaps is the Cardinals play 5+DBs a lot. His lowest snap% games have been Buffalo and Detroit. Not shocking those team are both bottom 10 in 11 personnel usage.

    It doesn't seem like he can hold up at OG, and there isn't a point to have him active on game day when Brown can give you OG/C depth. The outlook is pretty bleak at this point for Gaines to have an impact for AZ after Fro got his extension. Only an injury replacement at this point.

    He also can create separation with his quickness which Wilson can't and MHJ hasn't yet. Also has good deep speed. Saints probably would want too much for him, but worth a call since their cap is rough.
