    Banks was horrendous. I remember reading a story this year I think it was, maybe on this board or somewhere else, that Banks just wasn't interested in practicing from the moment he signed with us. I always wonder how, if you're trying to build a successful club, you don't find out these things...

    He signed a multi year deal right? Couldn't we have offered? He was mega that one playoff year. Or maybe that's why he was mega, because it was a contract year and he'd got a reputation of playing for one so we - correctly - baulked...That kind of sounds familiar.

    His wingspan is not great - 6'9.75" vs 6'8" in height - and inches matter in pro sports, especially on the defensive end. Looking at the guys in the All NBA teams, he's physically the lesser of all of them (Height / Wingspan / Standing Reach - obv can't confirm accuracy) except Jimmy Butler...

    So maybe that's our decision - swing for the fences on Isaac or go safe on Tatum (assuming we're in the market for a SF which I think it's safe to say we are). Looking at the physical measurements I have totally cooled on Jackson; that standing reach is not just bad, it's awful.

    I take it all back, Isaac is not my lock for the bust and the KG comparisons are legit. I must have watched a high school video or something cause I thought he was totally awkward as an athlete first time around, and he's not.

    And one more thing - that NBADraft.net compares Jackson to Kawhi Leonard at the top of their scouting report is an insult; wingspan and length (two similar but slightly different things) is so important in the NBA and Jackson is unquestionably short vs Leonard who is unquestionably long...

    I'm struggling to see what's wrong with Tatum other than his tendency not to pass to the open man which I'm sure (i may be wrong) can be coached out of him once he realises he not the singular star of the show. Plus: He's so much longer than Jackson - their wing spans may be only one and a bit...

    Yeah it includes trading Bledsoe at some point, the only problem being that if it's rookie and Ulis running the show we're gonna be awful again next season. I'm okay with draft Jackson or Tatum and trying to win for a change.
