Cards O-line 13th in sacks allowed last 8 games

our coaches looked like they were TRYING to fail last season. It was awful. This organization is in such a better place right now

    Michael Floyd making the Leap?

yup. Pretty darn embarrassing I meant it very literally. It was physically hard to watch. It also really gave me headaches

Background Story on Gill - Good Read

I like Byrd. Kid is hungry and not afraid to get blasted to make a play

Background Story on Gill - Good Read

interesting to see him go the opposite path as Richard Sherman. From DB to WR. Maybe DB is a better spot for him if he has trouble catching? Who knows. I always want every long-shot kid here to be the next Tom Brady. But his chances are slim. How big is he even?

Cards O-line 13th in sacks allowed last 8 games

I think you're right. And if the D and ST can play close to as well as they did the past couple years, this team could actually look good. But in the best division in the NFL, good probably wont cut it this year

Cards O-line 13th in sacks allowed last 8 games

will be an interesting year. That's for sure. Though all signs point to progress on the line. I'm really curious to see how the team looks on offense in particular. I don't think it will be the embarrassment it was the past few years

    Michael Floyd making the Leap?

yup. I'm excited to see what they can do. If Palmer can get them the ball, the line can give him the time, and the run game can keep the opposing D honest, I think our offense could be exciting to watch. Which is a BIG change from the hard-to-watch group on the field last year

    thoughts on our safeties?

we just get safeties from NYJ? Something tells me he wont be as nice a surprise as Rhodes was.

    thoughts on our safeties?

with you there. You'd think Rolle would have left a huge hole after leaving for the biggest Safety contract in NY, but Rhodes filled it perfectly. He gave us more than Rolle IMO. He will be sorely missed. Wish we would get him back but I'm betting not

    Bobby Massie Article

I think it was posted before. I know I've seen it. Was a great read though. If he plays like the end of last year, we could have a good line. For once. Levi seemed like he turned a corner in his last healthy season, hopefully it wasn't just because it was his contract year. If so, we've got Nate...

    thoughts on our safeties?

with you there. Though AW isn't the player he was, he's still a beast. And Rhodes was a quiet star on this D. Not to mention AW's leadership. That is irreplaceable. Especially with Washigton now in trouble, we could use a leader. It's good to have Dansby back to hopefully lend a hand there. Plus...

this. I don't think we're awful at S. But we're worse than last season. Hard to replace AW and Rhodes regardless of who we put back there though

June 1st: Cards with over 11 mil in cap room

I'm aware of your opinion, and I think you think too lowly of our locker room. The guys here have good character, they've already played with the guy for 3 years, I don't think him being gay will bother anybody. Dockett may say something, but only because he likes pushing the envelope, not...

PFT: Swope still dealing with lingering concussion issue

I agree. I'm surprised no NCAA source, doctor, anything said anything. But I wouldn't expect any GMs to give any idea of who will and will not be on their boards

Football Outsiders: Clean-up on Aisle 2012

the way I understand it, you're kinda right. It doesn't take into account all the times his guy never got the ball, but it doesn't NEGATIVELY affect the stat, but it's essentially writing off a positive stat like it never happened

June 1st: Cards with over 11 mil in cap room

ok, that makes some sense, but why didn't Horton try to get him there then if they're his guys? Also, Horton was our first DC in over a decade to sit a healthy AW. I doubt he would be in his corner after that. Rhodes on the other hand makes sense

nfl.com: Mind-blowing stats for the Arizona Cardinals

I'd also put DWash's extension on there until he got in trouble. Another young, talented player and they extended him on a good contract way early (sadly he's messed up and put that future in jeopardy, but a good football move years before they even typically would look at his contract

June 1st: Cards with over 11 mil in cap room

well clearly they weren't BFFs after he spit in his face. But I don't get the implication. Dockett hated Rhodes because he liked Horton? And because Rhodes liked Horton, he didn't like Bowles and was let go? Or was there something I missed?

damn man. Not very understanding towards a player that gave your team a hell of an effort for the last 3 seasons
