The one thing that made the off season a success was Cardson :)) Palmer suddenly becoming available and the Cards making the move to get him.

Otherwise we would be looking at nothing but a repeat of the last 3 years with Dereck Kevin John Stanton. Free agency really didn't improve much of anything but the cap situation and probably made the roster worse.

Thankfully the draft appears to have brought some relief.

As for the coaches who knows? A lot of guys with a lot of experience with no experience.

Lets see...11 million under the cap and the fourth-best team in our four-team division.

Same old Cardinals.

No season tickets, this year; I will watch it on TV, that way I can turn it off when they start stinking it up.
lmao. If you take the narrow view of our division (though I don't personally believe STL is a better team right now). BUT, this is NOT the same old NFCW. This is the best division in the NFL. From the worst

I disagree. I'd say our biggest improvement isn't even on the field. The dead-weight and overpaid contracts that we dropped were the biggest IMO. Suddenly our FO is making good moves. And not just "Cardinals good", really good

They don't give a Lombardi trophy for best front office moves. You can have the most astute and talented front office and greatest collection of contracts in the history of the NFL but if you don't have a quality QB in 2013 or 2014 or 2015 or.... you aren't going to win.

I disagree.

Sincerely,

Palmer is a part of the FO moves. An improved QB at a cheaper price. But we aren't going to win with Palmer. We'll compete much better than any other option we have/had. This division is just beasty. BUT, in a couple years, if the FO keeps it up, we can have a pretty complete team (so far they've improved almost everywhere for lower costs, and lower risks. If they can keep that up, they'll be good... and stay good), something we've never done. Of course IMHO

How many playoff games has Adrian Peterson won so far in his career?

One. But he's made the playoffs three times in his carer, and two of those times were with (1) Gus Ferotte and Tavaris Jackson sharing snaps and (2) Christian Ponder throwing passes under center.

Are you really going to hang last year's Wild Card loss on AD when they lost by 14 points with Joe Webb not practicing with the ones all week?

The New York Jets went to the AFC Championship game two times in a row with Mark Sanchez as the starting QB.

Sincerely,

Adrian Peterson.

You crack me up with your wholesale dedication to being contrary. If I had one thing to recommend to your wife, if you have one, It would be to plant 4-5 stumps in the backyard so you would have something to argue with besides her.

:D

Minnesota Vikings without a QB but with Adrian Peterson: 9-23.

I can't argue with my wife. Why do you think I'm here all the time?

This argument is too funny. One lucky season out of six and the two years between Farve and Ponder getting some idea of NFL football the Vikings were 9-23. Try again.

Kerry Rhodes isn't coming back to the Cardinals and it has to do with more than money. I also have a feeling that Kerry Rhodes may be intending to make a big splash and I don't want it done here.

damn man. Not very understanding towards a player that gave your team a hell of an effort for the last 3 seasons

Two and a half seasons really. Rhodes missed over half of 2011. Maybe that's why he was let go. The Cards played their best defense in years while he was out.

I believe Wilson and Rhodes were victims of locker room control more so than $. They were Horton's guys 100% and Bowles would have had trouble taking over if they were still on the team. Rhodes is gone. Dockett is ecstatic. Read into that whatever you want.

well clearly they weren't BFFs after he spit in his face. But I don't get the implication. Dockett hated Rhodes because he liked Horton? And because Rhodes liked Horton, he didn't like Bowles and was let go? Or was there something I missed?

Yes you whiffed completely. I'm saying Rhodes and Wilson were Hortons guys and Dockett wasn't. It has nothing to do with anything between Darnell and Kerry personally. So Rhodes and Wilson go and Darnell stays. Sure the Cards offered Rhodes a deal but it was probably a low ball offer they knew he wouldn't take.

That's my speculation and I'm sticking to it until somebody proves me wrong. And with the suck up reporting we get from the folks who cover the Cards that probably won't happen any time soon.

ok, that makes some sense, but why didn't Horton try to get him there then if they're his guys? Also, Horton was our first DC in over a decade to sit a healthy AW. I doubt he would be in his corner after that. Rhodes on the other hand makes sense

Was Wilson healthy? We'll never know. I always love how one of our players goes the entire year with an injury and we don't find out about it until 2-3 years later. But I can't blame them. You don't want your opponents to know that Fitz has a high ankle sprain for instance if Larry is still going to start on Sundays.

Kerry Rhodes would be a problem in any locker room that he would join. It is more than just football that is the issue with Rhodes.

I'm aware of your opinion, and I think you think too lowly of our locker room. The guys here have good character, they've already played with the guy for 3 years, I don't think him being gay will bother anybody. Dockett may say something, but only because he likes pushing the envelope, not because it genuinely bothers him

may say something? He SPIT in the guy's face. And did you hear how ape-nuts he went when Chris Rix intimated Dockett was gay on the radio? Wouldn't surprise me putting two and two together and realizing that the Dockett might have more of a problem with a guy being gay then you believe.

I mean... to spit on another player is disgusting enough...to spit on a TEAMMATE? That's reprehensible, no matter what the reason is.

I didn't know about his gay thing. That's a shame. He was way cool when I met him. I thought his controversy was mostly class-clownish
