    I'm not so sure that Smith will improve much beyond last season. I just don't see him as a very solid QB. I've said it many times, SF couldn't have picked a much worse year to have the #1 overall pick. I think Norv helped him a lot last season, and he still had as many INT's as TD's.

    For me... 1. The previously mentioned Steve Bono 75 yard TD. I was at that game and watched in dismay as that play went down, it felt like it was in slow motion. The damn over-pursuit of the Buddy Ryan defense left NO ONE in the defensive backfield, and Bono (who runs about a 5.5 40) runs free...

    Adding two rookies certainly doesn't guarantee a playoff berth. They will be better, but let's see who they take before putting them in the postseason (of course, they do play in the weak Eastern conference).

    Is the draft order in the supplemental draft the same as this year's draft? If so, we have a high 2nd and I say we use it on him. 1st round is a bit of a risk.
