I have zero arguments to make against this deal and honestly I can't see how anyone else can either. While I think Parker has a bright future, essentially KT gave up a maybe for as close to a sure thing as he can get. To me, when ages are similar, I ALWAYS go for the proven commodity...

Solid pitcher and young but if they continue to float Bauers name out, I'm not biting. I understand to get something, you have to give something and a young pitcher under team control for a fww more years is a valuable commodity.... However, I'm not about giving up Bauer.

I may be alone but I wouldn't object to a Davidson, Pollock and Corbin for Cahill deal. I like Cahill almost as much as Gio. While he doesn't have the full arsenal Gonzalez does, he's a ground ball pitcher with very good control and doesn't give up a ton of runs or hits. Plus at 23, he's still...

Because they're too worried about what the fan base, and worry that a number of them will have a public outcry over his head coaching record. Regretfully, not enough look at the entire picture, too many worry about the frame. For the record, I'm in favor of English as a candidate.
