    Jason Worilds

Virgina Tech is the posterchild for fast tracks. I always take their pro days numbers with a grain of salt. Worilds is an underachiever with a very intriguing skillset.

Yup. He was projected to work himself into the first with a good combine, but running 4.9-5.0 when you're already undersized is a death sentence. You can't be small and slow in the pros. I don't believe Spikes will suffer the exact same fate because he has size and strength.

I tihink he could sneak into the latter half of the second, but I think he goes in the third. It depends on how fast Gresham and Gronkowski leave the board.

Can Brandon Graham convert to OLB?

    He can do both.

On the flipside, Penn State LB Sean Lee ran 4.5s at his Pro Day. I think it's safe to say that he's leapfrogged Spikes. Still would take Spikes in the third without much thought. Thumpers don't need to be that fast (see: Jeremiah Trotter).

I don't disagree with there could be better options in terms of players, but going by history under the Whisenhunt regime, they typically tend to address the biggest need(s) first. 2007 - Levi Brown There was nobody at tackle and just traded Leonard Davis. 2008 - DRC The cupboard was bare at...

But why is Washington not an option? He would fit what we are looking for. If you're picking 26th with your next pick being 58th and a guy you like is projected to go somewhere in between, why not pick him at 26 instead of trying to trade up? It really isn't as much of a reach as some of you...

Holy crap Batman could the Cardinals have Kamerion Wimbley right now??????

Yes, because they were just pulling their hair out trying to gameplan for Wimbley and his vicious shoulder dip that nets him five sacks a year. :mulli: Wimbley should produce more with his hand on the ground, but I doubt he becomes a multiple PBer. Didn't joeschmo say something about the...

Thanks, Zeno, for that excerpt. One part of that which strengthens my comfort with Washington is the following: Considering the times we had Dansby playing almost a safety-like zone coverage, I'd consider Washington a more than capable fill-in.

I consider Washington to be a first round talent and I would probably take him over Spikes if it came down to it at 26. Washington has more speed and is better in coverage and at WILB I would consider those characteristics a priority. Brandon seems to dread running the 40 and the eye gouging...

Daryl Washington, LB, TCU 6-1.5, 230, 4.66 Daryl Washington is a do everything linebacker who main drawback is that he's smaller than you'd like. While you could argue that size is a concern, Washington showed up at TCU's Pro Day at 229 and ran well (4.46-4.51) with the potential to carry...
