    Is BA done?

Today Arians said Gabbert would start this weekend because Stanton is not fully healed and that Stanton will start when he is. This is nonsense. It is time for Bidwill to step up and terminate Arians. If Stanton is not fully healed, why was he backup yesterday instead of Barkley? And why in the...

If you had lived as a fan through the entire Cardinal History,

My best recollection is watching the dream backfield of Paul Christman, Elmer Angsman, Charlie Trippi and Pat Harder play in Comiskey Park against the Bears. If I recall correctly, Ed Sprinkle of the Bears clothes lined Trippi who got up and cold cocked Sprinkle. I think I snuck in because I was...

    GM Steve Keim

If Keim is so enamored with Stanton, why did he bring Barkley back?

Stanton - Sprained Knee. Gabbert to start Week 11??

Why do the Cardinals have 4 quarterbacks. Josh Weinfuss just tweeted that Gabbert, Barkley and Bercovici went through warmups today while Stanton threw on the side. I realize that Bercovici is on the practice squad but it still seems strange. Are the Cardinals planning to cut Barkley as soon as...

Stanton may miss 2 games. Lets see Gabby

You are right. Tomorrow SK should be fired for signing Gabbert and Gabbert should be cut (pre-season performance is meaningless). We will them have Barkley until our top QB Stanton returns. But wait. Barkley's not good either. We will have to hope and pray that Stanton can return next Sunday...

    The Tooth Fairy

Its unreal the way the Cardinals seem primarily to be focused on the timing of when a less than stellar backup QB will be able to return.

It would be nice if you could clone the Ram's coach. What a turn around.

Stanton - Sprained Knee. Gabbert to start Week 11??

Very interesting that Barkley is being brought back. Didn't he start with the Cardinals, then go to the Bears and next to the 49ers?

Thursday night foot ball should go

The article referenced below has a good discussion about Thursday night football and the player harm and economic impact of Thursday night football...

    We Lost

The NFL has a serious problem with all the injuries and close officiating that leads to numerous penalties. The game last night was painful to watch at times because of this.

Let me say it - What stings the most...

Not at all. Maybe its because I have taken several overseas plane trips and know how unpleasant they can be.

Let me say it - What stings the most...

Its not entirely an excuse for the way they played, but I think it was a mistake for the Cardinals to fly back to Phoenix right after the game. The players would have had to bag up their belongings and check out of the hotel. So what they had facing them was a 12 hour flight while they were...

It's amazing how many teams could want/need a QB in next year's draft

If you watched the Bear game last night, you saw how a young quarterback can invigorate a team even if he makes some rookie mistakes. Trubisky made quite an impression not only with the fans but also, as quoted by Bear players after the game, his team mates.

AZ 18 SF 15 OT: What Next?

My only disagreement is with your comment that Hoyer "is getting better and better any game." We were lucky he was the QB.

AZ 18 SF 15 OT: What Next?

I am surprised Arians still puts Peterson back as a punt returner from time to time. I think Peterson has demonstrated that he doesn't like the contact that punt returners endure and looks for a fair catch or some other way to avoid being hit.

not that it mattered but that TD by Dez

We might have been better off if the refs had ruled that HB did not make contact and have the runner down. If he scored then, we would have had more time to make a come back. Instead Dallas took time off the clock and scored. Was it clear that PP could not have made a fair catch on the punt...

What Do You Hate Most About The Cardinals Right Now?

I just saw on Bloomberg that Direst TV is giving refunds to Ticket customers who object to the players kneeling or locking arms. I wold love to get out of my Ticket this year but I won't do that for that reason.

Is It Time to Blow It Up?

Keim's biggest problem has been that he defers too much to BA. It's hard to believe Keim really believed that the special teams coach should stay and that Stanton deserved as much deference as BA gives him.

I was at the game. Expert analysis

Last week the Lions shot themselves in the foot the first part of the game and then recovered. The Colts waited until the 4th quarter to self destruct. Also, I thought some of the Colts calls on offense were bad. But thanks to that, we won.

Is our playbook too complicated ?

How many quarterbacks for other teams wear a wrist band with plays written on it?

The Steve Keim Report Card - You be the Judge

Looking to next year, The Cardinals should let CP retire and sign Sam Bradford who will be a free agent. I know he is in his 30s but he would be a good QB to have until Keim finds the QBOF.

    On Further Review

Is our offense too predictable? BA keeps justifying keeping Stanton because "he knows the offense." This certainly indicates the offense does not change very much. If so, is it a surprise that other teams know about our offense and game against it?

    What I Saw

The contrast between Palmer and Stafford was stark. I read somewhere that Stafford audibled over 40 percent of his plays and with the long count he was able to see what the defense was set to do. Did Palmer audible even once? And of course he is not the most mobile QB.

Did the Football Gods Descend on Foxboro?

This board is not just for you. I and I expect many others appreciate Mitch's posts and will care if he does not come back. I certainly would not miss you after such an intemperate post.

    Blaine Gabbert?

It is surprising and to me disappointing that BA would already name Stanton number 2. Why not wait at least one more preseason game before making that decision. In the past, BA says, "Stanton knows the offense." If that is the key test for how people are evaluated we are in trouble. I wonder...
