    The standard against which Barkley seems to be measured is perfection. He has played better during the preseason than either Stanton OR Palmer. I don't know what more could be expected from a new QB candidate.

    I think you meant Barkley rather than Bradley and I thought he played well. A lot has to do with reasonable expectations. It certainly is reasonable to expect someone like Palmer and even Stanton to play very well. Certainly even with a first round QB draft pick you don't expect him to come out...

    I am not enamored with John Brown. He dropped too many passes and later in the season seemed to lose his great speed. Maybe the latter is due to his injury.

    Forgive me but I think this is a silly thread. Of course people criticized CP for his performance against the Panthers but that doesn't mean they are "turning" on him. He is and will be our QB next year but that doesn't mean he can't be called to task if he has an extremely poor game.

    One of the most interesting comments in the article is that the Cardinals could lose all of there Unrestricted Free Agents and not be bad off.     Its troublesome that the Eagles had 350 net passing yards and more yardage per completions (8.1) than the Cardinals (7.5). You get a more mobile quarterback like Wilson or Newton and the Cardinals could be in trouble.

    I don't think CJ was in a funk. I think the run blocking was dreadful for whatever reason. And now he is hurt. Let's hope its not serious.

    Why does everyone assume the Cards will lose a couple more games?

    What has me concerned is that the running game looked like seasons past with poor blocking and short runs. It looked to me that Chris Johnson had very little opportunity to gain yardage because defenders were all over him.
