    Mistler wants in!

Folks, John Mistler is jealous over the publicity his partner is getting on this web site, so he wants to volunteer his time as well. In all seriousness, John is here to answer your questions as well. He is in the process of registering. P.S. Don't tell him what I said about him being too...

Have A Question About Training Camp? Ask Dave Pasch Here!

Omo is just saying that because he thinks he's getting a 10 percent cut. Seriously, this is great. I always enjoy interacting with the fans. Keep em coming, and I will answer each one when I can. Dave

JFK--great picture. I stay in the dorm, and I don't have a roomate, but Mistler thinks he is. No hazing last year. Mistler's too slow to catch me. Take it easy. DP

Have A Question About Training Camp? Ask Dave Pasch Here!

You guys are going to give me a big ego with all of these compliments. Seriously, I do appreciate the kind words. Kevin, I do see a more aggressive approach up front on defense. They will still two-gap, but it won't be as much read and react as in previous years. Dave

Have A Question About Training Camp? Ask Dave Pasch Here!

Re: wragge and grace It's going to be hard for guys like Grace and Wragge to make the team. Even vets like Starkey and Dishman aren't guaranteed spots. The O line is deep this year. Roundtree's unfortunate injury could open a spot for a guy like Grace.

Have A Question About Training Camp? Ask Dave Pasch Here!

Re: Left Guard/Center I think moving Kendall to center is a great decision. Cameron Spikes is the LG, giving the Cardinals the opportunity to put the best 5 linemen on the field at the same time. This is not just an experiment.

Have A Question About Training Camp? Ask Dave Pasch Here!

Hey Andy. The Cardinals have to establish a pass rush, or the defense will be in trouble. I think it's an improved group. I'm interested to see Calvin Pace tomorrow morning at practice. Vanden Bosch put on 20 lbs, and is getting a good challenge from LT Reggie Wells in practice. The system up...

Have A Question About Training Camp? Ask Dave Pasch Here!

Q Dmoney, I always have plenty of time for a 'Cuse fan. I don't know if there is any conscious connection, but I do think Quentin Harris has an excellent chance of making this team. The surprise of camp so far has been OT Reggie Wells, a sixth round pick out of Clarion. Marcus Bell has...

He looks okay. He shows flashes of great quickness and athleticism, but he needs to be more consistent.

AC looks in really good shape, and he and Leonard are quite a tandem on the right side of the line. That's the key to the offense this year. The health of the O-line. Barrett is a legit starting corner in this league. He's probably one of the more physical corners in the NFL. Dave

Wizard, I don't think so. Preston has improved from last year, but so has Josh McCown. Dave

Shane, Shipp looks good, but I tell you what...Emmitt has been very impressive. I think he has more left than everybody realized. Damien Anderson has also looked good. This is a very good group of running backs. Dave

Have A Question About Training Camp? Ask Dave Pasch Here!

Seesred, Dexter Jackson is really pushing Wilson to be a better player. I can't say in words how much Jackson has added to this football team. He is a great player, and leader, and will help Adrian grow. Wilson is up to about 230 lbs, and can still run and cover. If he stays disciplined...

Have A Question About Training Camp? Ask Dave Pasch Here!

Thanks man. I appreciate the compliment. Josh McCown has made tremendous strides. He looks very very good. He has all the tools, and I think he's not being as hard on himself as he was last year. Josh is very mature for his age, and I think has a chance to be a player. Blake clearly is the...

Have A Question About Training Camp? Ask Dave Pasch Here!

Shane, Fish is going to have to learn to play through pain. He's bulked up to about 240, and he hasn't lost any speed. He can be a great player, but he has to get used to playing with a little pain. Dave

Cheesebeef, I haven't heard "no earlier". They're working as we write to try and get these deals done. I don't see it lingering into the middle of August, because the talks are deemed "healthy". Your name reminded me of a sandwich I ate up here at camp. Good sandwich. Dave

Alan, Brian has a good leg, but he's a better kicker than a punter. I don't see him beating out Scott Player. Dave

Ryan, Both guys look pretty good. I think it's possible, but if Gramatica kicks off well, I think he'll keep the job. He's too clutch on field goals. Dave

Dave Pasch Reviews Recent Mini Camp

I am a big Barrett fan based on what I saw last season, but to be a top notch corner in the NFL, he has to keep improving. This being a contract year, I would expect even more out of him.

"with the #6 pick the AZ CARDS select

Re: Re: Re: "with the #6 pick the AZ CARDS select It all depends on who they get in the first round. This will be a defense heavy draft for the Cardinals, but they would like to pick a wide receiver and center also. The top defensive tackles will all probably be gone in the first round, but...

Does anyone have tape on Dennis Johnson and Suggs?

I've watched tape on both Suggs and obviously Johnson. Workouts and strength tests aren't everything. Since I had the opportunity to broadcast Dwight Freeney's games in college for three years, I can tell you that "get off" is the most important factor when evaluating defensive ends. Suggs "get...

Rush End - Of the Every Down Variety

I talked recently with now Cowboys O-line coach George Warhop. He watched Wendell Bryant every day in practice, and says he believes Bryant has all of the tools to be a great player. I was dissapointed that Bryant didn't play better once he had time to learn the system, and get a feel for the...
