    Damnit u DID get the one pitcher in the low 20's I would not like to give up. Great return for u guys...Mejia is gonna be a beast.. 6'7" already throws 97 195lbs and getting stronger. I mentioned him earlier but my post did not go through.

    Not sure about the Jackson show, but you underestimate the desperation of some teams..a useless Cody Ross can be put on the DL...Jackson has to play...I DO NOT want him anywhere near the starting rotation...I would be ok with him in a bullpen role which might be where he eventually ends up...but...

    yeah I tried editing what I really meant...u said the Cubs would want cash back for Ross...my argument was the Cubs benefit enough without cash considerations. Though I have to wonder just how good Ethier really is anymore.

    Why? Cubs lost out on Russel. Thats 5 years 82mil...instead we replace him with 3 years 40mil in Montero. We also trade Jackson 26mil 2yrs...for Ross 10.5ml 1 year...thats a 16mil savings. We could put Jackson in the pen but we have better options...I would much rather have Ross...even f...

Montero offensively would be right on par with Castillo...Castillo has the skills to be better offensively but he hasnt stayed healthy enough to put them...
