I wonder if this move is to replace Heyward or expedite a trade of Justin Upton. If they didn't want to pay for Heyward they sure make you scratch your head paying Markakis $44M for 4 years. SEA & TEX has stepped up their pursuit of Upton, with one rumor that should sound familiar, SEA offering RHP Taijuan Walker for Upton. However, one of the teams Upton can veto a trade is SEA, again sounds very familiar.
