    Ryan’s defense is the most elite skill of any player in this poor draft. That alone makes him a steal at 28. If the Suns knew he would progress with the jumper like this they never would have risked trading back.

    If he was an average 3 point shooter in college he would have been a top 5 pick. His defensive instincts are off the charts. Mikal is a great team defender, Ryan seems to also be a great 1 on 1 defender.

    Devin Booker is just a full-time point guard now. Even when Brad comes back Book will be the primary ball handler in any critical situation. He is 3 years younger than Nash when he returned. He could be the greatest Sun twice, once as a shooting guard and again as a point guard.

    He probably would have tried, but never would have succeeded. JC had become just about the most powerful man in basketball and would never allow the Suns to be moved as long as he was living.
