Thank you for posting this. At this point it looks to be very favorable for the Cardinals. The toughest games are the last two and by then  .
Note that both games before and after the bye are at home which is what Denny really likes.
We should get 9 or 10 wins and make the playoffs.

It's the same thing they did last year against NE. It actuially ended up being a very mild day- the one day out of the year I was actually HOPING it would be 120+ and it was an overcast day... Oh well, this is our last year with a weather advantage if you can call it that so I'm glad we have this early September game.

Although St. Louis is a dome-team, they can practice in hot-humid conditions in preparation to coming to Arizona...where they will enjoy our "dry-heat".

In other words, the heat won't be an serious advantage for us against the lambs. We will just have to crush them the with our new offense and defense.

Well, I wouldn't call the heat is a serious advantage against any team really, but I have seen many games where the heat and the sun were a factor. If you have ever sat in the sun at SDS for an early Sept game you know guys wearing navy blue helmets and jerseys in full pads, and running around at full speed, are dying out there. Hopefully they don't botch our new uni's too badly and we can still wear an all white combo.

Call me paranoid but I wouldn't be anywhere near an NFL stadium in New York on September 11th.

NFL games are a well known terror target.

OK then. You are paranoid! :D

I will be in attendance at Giants Stadium for the opener. Tailgate location to follow. Now who will drink with me?!?!?

Is it wrong to think both Indy and Phili have a about 12 wins and the division settled when we play them. Easy Games having players sit out!!!!

Hopefully they are just as meaningless to us.

I think the schedule is an 11+ plus wins if we get those to handed to us.

I work at a university. We get from Christmas to New Year's off. I don't think they'll be too interested in giving us the Monday, too. Guess we'll see.

for some reason I think this along with some sort of monetary consideration is the NFL's way of saying thanks for playing in Mexico

10/2 - SAN FRANCISCO AT ARIZONA (MEXICO) 7:30p (CT) 8:30p
10/9 - CAROLINA AT ARIZONA 1:15p (MST) 4:15p
10/16 - BYE
10/23 - TENNESSEE AT ARIZONA 1:15p (MST) 4:15p

Usually, the federal holiday is Jan. 1st, unless that day falls on a Saturday (inwhich case the holiday is the Friday the 31st) or Sunday (in which case the holiday is Monday the 2nd).

Cardinal Sked Notes

- Three of our first five games are at home.

- Kurt Warner gets to face old teammates in the first 2 weeks (at Giants on opening day followed by StL in AZ

- Five of our eight away games are in domes

- Unless you think it might snow in Dallas on Oct. 30, we have no winter weather games this year.

- Anyone who's (a) from the East and (b) enjoys the beach in Sept. and Oct. has to love that we have no early Sunday games til Oct. 30.

- This is the first year I can remember when I didn't care who we played when. (We're as good as anybody and no one is a pushover).

- Biggest conflict on my viewing schedule will be whether or not to give up the beach on opening day if I'm able to glom a ticket for opening day at Giant Stadium.

Talk about too much koolaid. :) Our last home game will be the first round of the playoffs. You see, we are going to win our division with a 9-7 or 10-6 record.

Bob,
Our Sheriff's Dept. does the Honor Guard for the NY Giants (usually 3 of the 8 home games a year), If Arizona is one of them I will be there!

Go Cards/ America!
