Are you here for work?
Yeah, a usability conference at the Hilton Exec tower.
Never been to Portland before; I hear it is awe-some and the microbrews are a'plenty.
-I kinda trust you.

LOL I wouldn't streer you wrong. I wouldn't do that to anyone, even a Lakers fan. Let me ask some buddies where to go and get back to you, I've not been to a bar in some time. I'm sure there's gotta be a Laker fan friendly bar somewhere here. You'll be downtown so there should be plenty of options. You won't even need a car! Hell, maybe I'll be able to get away and join your Laker lovin' ass for a brew, if that would be ok of course.
I was just in Portland for the first time myself two weeks ago Donald (didn't want KloD to know before hand as, well... it's a trust thing between me and him... ).
I stayed at the Hotel Monaco downtown. Have to admit I was not blown away with the downtown scene there in Portland. But did have a very nice dinner at a place called Pazzo on Washington St. They had a front bar area that seemed pretty cool with lots of TV's...
Pazzo eh...I'll add it to my list. Dinner and the Finals, can't be beat.
Really good food and not too pricey... They make their pasta fresh each day which of course can't be beat!
Like I said, the front-bar area had a solid vibe to it. Lost of TV's and wood tables. Great selection of brews on tap...
Have fun!

I know what can beat eating dinner and watching the Lakers in the finals, eating dinner and not watching the Lakers in the finals.
No, that is a major Fail.
Plus, it is not realistic.

That would be great. Of course, our bet would apply so you couldn't trash the Lakers in my presence.
