predicting how many games a team will win 4 months from the beginning of the season is ridiculous
As a fan, it's hard not to ponder what the cards will do next year. Predicting wins is better than making countless posts about Boldin and Dockett...At least we're in a position to win more than 5 games a year, which was way too common before whiz got here.

Right, we're not players or coaches so we don't have to take 'em one game at a time and speculating and debating about how the team will do months in advance or which players are better before we've even seen them take a snap in camp or a game is a part of what makes being a fan fun.

Especially when the alternative is basball with over a 130 games still to go or the 13 month long NBA playoffs.

IMO we win 11 this year. Injuries and pissed off players can also dictate this years win loss record. Hecxk we won 3 staright play off games with ateam that had a very small running game. With HIghtower having a year under his belt and Beanie getting started we should do real well. Especially if we keep the same or improve in a spot on the O-line. Special teams could win a game or two.

Fine, as long as we agree that Hightower is primarily a short-yardage-situation back.

I say we go 9-7.

10-6 if the ball bounces our way, or we luck out on something.

With injuries and bad luck we could go 8-8.

BUT, if the team takes a step forward, and by that I mean finds a running game, and a pass rush then we could get 12 wins and beyond.

10-6 would be ideal, 9-7 is a bad season after the optimism from last year. 11-5 would be a great season and respect would come with it from the other teams. so heres hoping for many good years to come.

Again, I think we'll sweep the 9ers, the seahawks, the Rams. The record I have for them is 11-5, but as I go over their schedule, it looks more like 12-4, save injuries...
losses to Indy, NYG, Titans, and Minnesota. They are going to win one of those games, so that the Texans may bite them, and GB may bite them to get their final record to 11-5.

While taking shots of Cardinal-Kool Aid and using reality as a chaser, here's my fearless prediction:

Wk.1 - vs. 49ers-W
Wk.2 - @ Jags-W
Wk.3 - vs. Colts-L
Wk.4 - Bye
Wk.5 - vs.Texans-W
Wk.6 - @ Seahawks-L
Wk.7 - @ Giants-L
Wk.8 - vs. Panthers-W
Wk.9 - @ Bears-L
Wk.10 - vs. Seahawks-W
Wk.11 - @ Rams-W
Wk.12 - @ Titans-L
Wk.13 - vs. Vikings-W
Wk.14 - @ 49ers-W
Wk.15 - @ Lions-W
Wk.16 - vs. Rams-W
Wk.17 - vs. Packers-L

10-6. The final regular season game is a 'give up' game b/c the Cards will have the West tied up and can't squeak into the #2 spot in the playoffs.

Matt Leinart starts and does well against the Packers but a defense without Dansby, A-dub and Clark Haggans (all rested) couldn't slow down the Pack.
