Who is calling for Wilks to be fired midseason? It isn't a feasible or realistic move. I am, however, done with him. I just read an article today that states Reddick and Bucannon were supposed to be his Kuechly and Davis. Even more laughable than the previous nonsense. Wilks is a joke, and we will continue to be a joke as long as he is running this thing. Same goes for Keim.

We are so bad it’s driven THESMEL to this!!!

No no no no - it’s what Wilks said - haha - Keim drank the 5th!
I mean there ain’t no way back to the top 10 3-4 defense the last 2 years - Sam and the whole team are in a bad offense - predicated on the run and still passing 2 to 1 - because we are not fundementally sound. I don’t know the new staff well enough to say who is qualified to take over the offense - but Wilks and McCoy seem like dumb and dumber at this point-

Don’t know why but Tony Dungy came to mind as a new HC - probably cause he’s not coaching and excellent - Marty schottenheimer would be my choice if he could still get er done at his age.

I really think lil Billy Bidwill - the one true Cardinal that has shoulder more misery than any one man deserves in 10 lifetimes - should weigh in - take Michael by the ear and go foghorn leghorn on him!

Boy I said BOY - I keep my feathers numbered for just such an occasion

I'm in agreement with you on Wilks. He reminds of ex-Suns coach Earl Watson. He talked a real good game but couldn't coach. He will last the season and should but Bidwill will have to clean house on NFL's Black Monday in January.

In a van...down by the river.
Bidwill just needs to ride this mess out for a top pick and fire Keim immediately at the end of the season. Keim IMO is primarily responsible for this mess, which includes bungling too many drafts.

Hire a GM who can bring in a staff and players that fit whatever system the Cardinals decide to build from the ground up. Preferably an offensive HC to compliment Rosen and his growth.

Having a top pick AND a potential franchise QB already in place is an advantageous position to go out and bring in quality football people and coaches.

I’m retired from shrooms and highs - but can be a hoot sober - I’m getting ready the gold mine for the winter about 30 minutes north of Phoenix - will be a camp fire near a ghost town and a hohokam fort - spend a lot of time by myself invoking ancient spirits and seeing if they laugh at my jokes. But mostly they roll on and through the rocks laughing at these cardinals decision makers - you big silly’s don’t need a toaster in the desert - it’ll fry 60000 brains at once - turn them into dumb- plings

Football season seems over

If McCoy wasn’t fired on the plane home after that debacle there’s no hope. That game Sunday was a cluster of epic proportions:bang:

Add Sam Bradford to our garbage organizational situation. Touted as the guy all offseason, now is INACTIVE on gameday. That is 15 mil that is sitting on the bench on top of the 8 mil that this team is sitting by not playing Bucannon. Our front office and coach are flat out liars and are clueless. Maybe momentum is a real thing in the front office as well. Keim has hit a downward spiral in his recent moves, and Wilks seems to have zero clue about how to build and develop a roster in the offseason. Other teams are talking about how solid the QB room is for their young QB while AZ is talking about dumbing things down and has their mentor now INACTIVE which I am sure makes him a solid guy to have grooming Rosen.

Bradford Inactive?? Will he be there to help read coverage with his Windows surface pro? Will he be there in shorts and sandals?

Inquiring minds need to know....

For each game Bradford is active this season he receives a $312,500 bonus. That's why he's not active anymore.

Wilks might be a worse coach than Tomsula. Tomsula actually got a couple of wins out his team. I am not so sure Wilks can do the same.

Unfortunately this aged well.

When asked after the game if he would have been more aggressive if he could have done it again..."I would do it the same way"

Coaching to lose.
Yep

Anyone thinking that Wilks doesn’t deserve as much criticism for today isn’t paying attention!!!

Wilks has told McCoy his offensive philosophy & it’s ground & pound (his words)!!!

Fire both if you want to compete for anything! Conservative doesn’t win in the NFL consistently! It just doesn’t innthis era!

What I especially didn't like were:

1. Letting RBs get outside our flanks

2. Poor tackling - especially after initial contact

3. Being the butt of trickeration by R Wilson

4. WR dropsy.

5. Dawson's regression.

6. We were on the receiving end of too many penalties and "football on the ground" calls.

I'm not going to point fingers at play calls, player substitutions etc. (by our very nature, fans will disagree about these things). But I what will say is: a lot of stuff happened that took points off the board, sustained Seahawk drives and caused us to lose.

Most of the issues are fixable, but most also have their roots in our coaching.

(To be blunt, we're not "football smart - and, boys and girls, what is the opposite of football smart)?

We have poor execution because we are poorly coached.
