ASU coming off of embarrasing loss to Cal. Rudy and Dirk can earn some points back with an upset of the Ducks. Oregon is coming off a bye week.

Carnahan is out for the season. That's a big blow to the team...wow I'm not so confident anymore. Does anyone know the status of that other o-lineman?

On paper Oregon is the much superior team, but the line has moved in ASU's favor heavily over the past few days so I'm thinking something is up behind the scenes. Gotta go with ASU now.

How did Dirk totally destroy Rudy's confidence?

It's amazing that once ASU started playing real teams they have been totally exposed as being mediocre.

I suppose if you have to hang your hat on something, being mediocre is better than being flat out terrible. Like UofA.

:(

U of A sure has been "terrible" with its two losses to top 10 teams. I hope they extend Dirk for 15 more years.

If bashing UofA makes you feel better about ASU not really being any good then go for it, you need the help more then I do.

You were obviously looking to bash ASU with your first comment.

BTW - you still haven't answered the question - what is so amazing?

We barely beat NAU so why is is suddenly "amazing" that Oregon is walking over us?

How can we be "exposed" as mediocre when that's all we've been the entire year?

Unless you've been under a rock and just realized that ASU is a mediocre football team this season, the only way your first post makes any sense is if it was a weak attempt at a burn.

ASU's in my blood, but that just sucked beyond belief.

This game was absolutely rock-bottom for Koetter and ASU. THIS TEAM QUIT!

What the hell are they using the "state-of-the-art" training center for? It's not showing on the field. I saw players literally bouncing off defenders (against NAU, as well).

I would be shocked if Koetter isn't canned or resigns within hours of this debacle. In no way, can a big donor look at this game... and still want Koetter back.

Rudy Carpenter is the WORST QB I've ever seen wear an ASU uniform.

My first comment was in regards to all the talk of ASU being a BCS contender early in the season, and how they would contend for the Pac 10 title.

What is amazing is I think most people felt that the NAU game was a fluke, that the Devils would bounce back. That has proven to be incorrect.

BTW, the play-by-play by Dan Fouts was just ridiculous. He sounded like an 18-year old cheerleader.

- Every home game should be played at night. TV or not.

Hope you did not bet on this game.

Nah, that just proves how people who bet on football are usually stupid and clueless.
