Is it possible that we have two of the most classless coaches in the NFL in our division?

I love Jim Harbaugh. I wish he were our coach. He's like me when I was 25. Doesn't want anything except the next win.

This is the greatest image of all time.

I can't stand Jim. Petulant child. I like John, who seems to have 4 times the class as his brother.

It would be perfect if someone could add the sound from the opera Pagliacci.

In some ways, Jim Harbaugh reminds me of Bobby Knight. A very successful head coach, but also a sore loser who spends a lot ot time and energy arguing with and confronting officials.

Honestly, more times than not when they show him on the sidelines, when a call doesn't go his way.. He reminds me of the classic tantrum kid in a grocery store when being denied.

Both guys can coach no question. But there's also no question that they are among the biggest douches in professional sports.

Dude's a smart guy. He doesn't care what the cameras think of him. He knows how to work the refs. If and when it stops working, you know that he's going to chill out.

I guess there's a difference when you're working with an organization that has a long history of success and you're backed with perhaps the finest front office in sports. And when the rest of your roster is so young and professional (for the most part). It'd be different if it were here, I suppose.

Jim Harbaugh has had great success in his two years. His antics on the sidelines makes me not like him even though I do not know that much about him. He borders on being bizarre at times and I wonder if this sometimes carries over to his players. I cannot complain about his coaching ability and in fact he must be complimented for his success but I just detist how he appears on tV while coaching a game.

Harbaugh to me is a far superior coach to Petey. He might be agitating to watch because he cannot control his passion which end up in dislikable mannerisms but unlike Carroll...it is due to his passion to win and not just being an arrogant jackass

I think they both over-act for the cameras.

That being said I have far more respect for Pete Carroll and what he's been able to do. Harbaugh inherited a totally stacked team. A playoff ready team--deep playoff ready. If Whis could take a team like AZ to the SB with the talent we had, then I'm not surprised--nor impressed--that Harbaugh can do so with the talent they have. Pete Carroll has done a lot more with a lot less IMO. And he scored on Russell Wilson which is just as impressive as Harbaugh scoring on Colin. Only difference is Harbaugh's team was way more stacked with talent when he got there.

Good point! Right now, I think both coaches are backed by solid front offices. Michael Bidwill seems intent on upgrading the Cardinals scouting and personnel department to match them and if B.A. can match Carroll and Harbaugh in coaching ability, the Cardinals could eventually catch up. If you look at the talent levels right now, Seattle and SF have more IMO.

The Niners were very fortunate last season to have almost no serious injuries. The Cardinals weren't so fortunate. But when you enter the season with players with suspect durability at RB and QB, you are asking for trouble IMO.

The NFC West is going to be very good for the next few years, so a change was definitely needed in Arizona. The question is whether it will be enough.

This is ridiculous. Check out the head to head matchup prior to this last game. And that includes stacked Carroll USC team against the Furd. There are millions of reasons I could list Harbaugh is the better coach but Ill just leave the head to head as the ultimate indicator.

Jim Harbaugh >>>> Pete Carroll and its not even close. Petey will be back in college in 2015 book it. And this coming from a guy who believes Russell Wilson >>>> Kaep.

Carroll is a rah rah coach and that does not cut it in the pros. It is easy to use it as a motivational tool in college because your roster is constantly changing (players do not stay long enough to wear on the emotional hoopla) and young kids are very impressionable. For any success Carroll has had so far, his over the top antics will bury him after his players as professional adults tire of it in a extended time. If Seattle ever hits a bad stretch in a upcoming season not far from now, the whole team will tank with Carroll having no shot of ever righting the ship.
