I think this defense can keep Philly under 20, but on the flip side, I think Philly's defense can keep AZ under 20 as well... unless we get some pick 6's and ST returns.

I think we can put more than 20, and I'm probably overly-confident than we can hold them to under 20, especially if they continue turning the ball over. I really hope this is a breakout game for our offense (the defense will always bring it). If we can use their aggressiveness against them with some screens (hard to believe I just said that) to negate their pass rush we could have a big day offensively. I also hope we use some more wildcat to negate the rush, as well as a few more end-arounds using Roberts. Add that to the fact that Philly plays a lot of man-to-man and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this could be a breakout game offensively.

I have a feeling that Fitz and Wells are going to have really good days. Can't shake that feeling even when I think of the offensive line. Oh, and I think we are going to get a defensive or special teams TD too.

Fitz needs to have a strong game... its about time.

However, this will be a tall order considering heavy pass rush will cause Kolb to bail out of pocket and run for his life all game long.

Beanie may have a better game. Eagles are giving up 4.9 yeards avg rushing.

It will be interesting to see how Horton schemes to pressure Vick but yet keep him from running the football. Against Seattle we blitzed a good portion of the time but vs the Pats we only blitzed a handful of times if that. Vick needs to be pressured but with a man to spy Vick takes away some of that pressure. Like I said will be an interesting and fun game to watch.

Eagles having difficulty with the rush.....pound the ball the entire first half, then open the second with some play action....then Lil Sweetness around the edge once the Philly defense is tired out......I would run it 30 or 40 times this week if I were the coach......never throw the ball unless you have to.

The way I see it, we already faced a better D in Seattle.

Gave up few sacks



Besides shooting ourselves in the foot, we should win. Our D line SHOULD maul Vick. Our secondary SHOULD pick him off 12 times.

The only question is whether or not we can move the ball on O.

I don't call our win in NE as "barely". just forgetting what happened near the end. It's unusual.
We controlled the game up to the 8th min of 4th Quarter 20-9. We could have easily scored 2 TD's on our first 2 drives.
The way it ended, yest make it look barely but this wasn't how the game went.

doesn't matter how the game starts, it matters how it ends. We definitely barely won
