Is the question to pick the record or call each game?

Bill Lewis on 1060 just broke down a 9-7 season. He had it right last year, hopefully he has that mojo workin' again.

Breakdown:
Sept. 12 at St. Louis L
Brutal Game. If DG can prepare them well enough maybe.

Brutal Game. Maybe a full stadium and the Tillman emotional boost...

Sept. 26at Atlanta L
Vick can win games by himself.

Oct. 3New Orleans W
Haslett is overrated.

Oct. 10at San Francisco L
This could be a W very easily depending on how messed up SF is.

Oct. 17Open Date

Oct. 24Seattle W
Book it. DG owns Holmgren.

Oct. 31at Buffalo L
Tough defense.

Could be a W if Miami falls apart.

Nov. 14New York Giants W
Cards are in better shape.

Nov. 21at Carolina L
Tough D.

Nov. 28New York Jets W
Tough game.

Dec. 5at Detroit L
Depending on how DET is doing could be a close W.

Dec. 12San Francisco W
Book it.

Dec. 19St. Louis W
By this time all will be known.

Dec. 26at Seattle L
Could be a close L.

Jan. 2Tampa Bay W
Feel good about this.

5-11. Too tough a schedule and too many new starting positions.

9-7 in 2005 however is not out of reach.

8-8 albeit we win our last 6 games and therefore summer 2005 passes in a blaze of glorious optimism

between 5-11 and 8-8. but to choose an actual prediction, i'll go with 6-10. but, as cheese said, a deliriously happy, entertaining, and promising 6-10. only one real stupifying blowout. (okay, maybe two).

Sept. 12 at St. Louis- Win- I have a feeling they won't be prepared for us.

Sept. 19 New England- Lose- I hope we win, but I don't think we will.

Sept. 26 at Atlanta- Lose- Mike tears our "dbs" apart

Oct. 3 New Orleans- Win. NO sucks.

Oct. 10 at San Francisco- Win and we go over .500!

Oct. 17 Open Date

Oct. 24 Seattle- Lose and lose bad. Blow out. This is a wake up call that we aren't great yet.

Oct. 31 at Buffalo- Depends on the weather, I'll say we win.

Nov. 7 at Miami- We get great games out of Dockett and Boldin- Win. Shipp starts to get banged up and our offense beings to slow down.

Nov. 14 New York Giants, with their season already lost with only 2 wins, decide to play Manning. We will win due to all of the ints that Manning throws to Jackson. Gramatica has a chance to win it for the Giants and comes up short! We win 9-6.

Nov. 21 at Carolina- Lose. Their defense is too much. We get less than 100 yards on the ground and are held to 6 points.

Nov. 28 New York Jets- Lose. Jets always play tough in the end of the season. Our running game is really sucking.

Dec. 5 at Detroit- We lose. Less than 100 yards on the ground. Media starts to rip Green and Shipp.

Dec. 12 San Francisco- We win. Emmitt has a big day as the featured back.

Dec. 19 St. Louis- We win big. Bulger is out after being sacked so much. Emmitt anounces that he will retire after the season, and he puts 150 yards on the ground. Green tells the media that he loves Emmitt, but then benches him and declares Scobey the featured back. Emmitt tells S.I. that he should have retired as a Cowboy.

Dec. 26 at Seattle- We lose big again. Blow out. Scobey looks horrible. Seattle clinches the division. Emmitt shows up to the game in his Cowboy uniform and keeps calling McCown "Troy."

Jan. 2 Tampa Bay- We barely win. Shipp is the featured back again. Tampa isn't going to be good this year.

9-7: I'll take it, but we miss the play-offs.
During the off-season McCown, Dockett, and Jones hold out for better contracts.
