A few notes.....

WR: Insert McCoy instead of Spurlock. McCoy almost beat out Johnson as the #3 before getting injured last season. There's NO WAY Spurlock can match that and Breaston also eliminates Spurlock as a return option.

Good points, but it's only on this board that McCoy nearly beat out Johnson as the no. 3 wideout. Denny was clear from day one, that BJ was his no. 3. McCoy has shown nothing but a busted finger to the new coaches, so my sense is that the 4th. or 5th. receiver position is wide open, with a slight advantage to Breaston and Spurlock as punt and KO returners.

I agree with Mitch that Wells could be the odd man out on the OL. I wouldn't be surprised to see him traded. To whom and for what I don't know.

The idea of trading a guy who can play a tackle position in this league and is on a long term, reasonable contract, is just plain silly to me. Competent lineman are at a premium. One certainly doesn't give up on a young one like Wells, for some 2nd day pick.

I'm pretty sure it was reported in the "real" media that McCoy and Johnson were neck to neck long into training camp, but that Johnson remained the #3 because McCoy had some weird drop (which Denny also commented on in the media)
