This stretch is brutal travel wise.

7 of our first 11 games on the road... that's just brutal. yay! we finish up with 4 of 5 at home... which will probably be completely irrelevant.

Shane, if this team resembles last year ( I think so), the travel is the least of my concerns.

Look on the bright side cheese - if a season is going to be cancelled it may as well be this one.

opTIMistic View: If a month or so to the beginning of the 2011 season is lost to the strike, the Cardinals could have a "home field" loaded schedule when play resumes.

Also if they play well they might get thrown a primetime flexed game late in the season.

Go Cardinals!

Surprised we open at home. That rarely happens. Wonder if it will even happen this year with the lockout.

Need to come out of the first 3 games at 2-1. There is a legitimate chance of 3-0.

Agree...if Horton can install his philosophy into the defense on the fly and we get a legit QB, this is very feasible.

Even still, there is no reason why we shouldnt crush Carolina at home (especially if they have Scam Newton under center)

On First Thought

1. We open at home.

2. BYE Week is Week #6 (which is OK)

3. 3 of our first 5 games before BYE week are on the road. (Figures).

4. One three-week stretch of road games...

5. Followed by a three-week stretch of home games.

6. No SNF, MNF or ThNF nationally televised games. (Even the Saturday Christmas Eve game in Cincy represents the usual set of Sunday afternoon games moved a day earlier to avoid Christmas Day. (Serves us right for going 5 & 11 last season).

7. The only potential rotten-weather late Fall/winter games could be Nov. 13 in Philly, Nov. 20 in San Francisco (hardly a snow town but it could be rainy or windy) and Christmas Eve in Cincy.

8. Bottom Line - Nothing thrilling but we came out pretty well.

We will have the bottom Fox crew on opening weekend. That will suck. :-/

Ouch. Snubbed in Primetime and lots of back to back travel. Yikes... Thanks for posting!

A snub in prime-time is just what we deserve after the way we performed last year in prime time. That status should be earned, and we have done nothing by way of doing that.

This four week stretch right before the bye is nasty in terms of travel.

I know winning percentage wise we are supposed to have the easiest schedule next season. It seems the NFL has gone out of their way to make it as difficult as possible.
