Yeah the Suns also said that about Dragic etc... and how many of their draft picks are sitll on the roster? Nobody except Lopez.

How many of our drafted players in the last 12 years even ended up with a new contract after their rookie contract? Marion, Barbosa, Amare that is all?

Looks like the Suns wanted a PF even if some of the SF's left had higher overall potential. But they already have Frye, Warrick and Lawal and Morris is probably a career backup. I would have probably taken Singleton or Motiejunas who could be converted into a PF.

I would have taken Singleton, no question. I'd like to see Faried in Phoenix but not at the 13.

Not defensively, not from a blocking perspective and not on the boards. The Suns kept true to their word. They said there was going to be a focus on defense. Marcus is clearly the better offensive player but If I had to pick between the two, I make the same pick.

DEFENSE must be the Suns priority if this franchise is to ever get over the hump.

Not that I believe this guys is a game changer by any stretch. I didn't see anybody left on the board that was going to be that guy.

So the Knicks keep Shumpert, I hope we get Selby somehow we need backcourt help and Selby is the most athletic player other than Shumpert and can create shots plus has huge upside.

And Marcus will be even worse defensively so what is your point? If Markieff doesn't translate defensively, his brother sure as hell won't because he was clearly the inferior defender. Given the two players, you still have to pick Markieff. Again, not a game changer but there was none of those players left anyway.
