I do understand that the Lakers losing is like a championship to several of you, and that's cool. Enjoy it. I have a couple of mini-titles coming up myself. Already had one when the Thuggets lost, then Miami and Boston will lose too and I'll be quite pleased with the state of the world.
Nope! My Heat gonna win it all.. Sorry bud..

Ban Bynam for life? They (NBA) should come down hard on him for sure, make an example of him, yes but banning for life aint going to happen.

Another thing I noticed was nobody wanted none when Bynam slammed the mini Mav. I don't think any of the Mavs players were just keeping their cool, I just think they didn't want none. :D

It was a dick move going after the smallest dude on the court, I hope they suspend the crap out of him.

any mav player would be considered stupid for doing any type of retaliation, especially when they know they're advancing to the next round. why risk ANY chance of being suspended as well.

haywood and others were there, but bynum knew what he'd done and immediately walked off.

Kidd made a half-hearted run at him...

In a van...down by the river.
Worse than bush-league....Bynum showing his true P***y cat colors there, knowing there won't be any retaliation due to being....ELIMINATED and sent home fishing for the season.

They said on the air that they will both probably be suspended by the league at the start of the next regular season.

You don't know many Laker fans, it seems.

I do and they watched regardless of what chance the Lakers had. I thought you were one until I read you didn't watch. Seriously.....what kind of "true" Laker fan doesn't watch a playoff game?

True definition of a band wagoner.

Wow....

You are assuming he watches it number one. It seems like he has no interest based on the comments above.

Second, I have never known a die hard fan to miss a game if at all possible and even when they did have to tape it, they sure as hell did everything they could to avoid the outcome until they watched it.

This wasn't about effecting the outcome. This was about watching and supporting your team no matter how likely they were to get beat.

I get what you are saying, but the Lakers seemed to care about the series. Why should the fans, down 3-0?

Well...the players not caring is one thing but like I said I have 2 die hard fans as friends and they wouldn't have missed that game for the world regardless of their chances. That is support.

So far, so good on these playoffs. Without the Suns in it, I most wanted the Spurs and Lakers to lose. Not only did they lose, they got totally embarassed in the process. Sweet!

Now, I'm cheering for a Hawks-Grizzlies finals just so I can watch David Stern's head explode.

Hawks-Grizzlies or Hawks-Oklahoma would be an AWESOME FU to Stern.

I can hear it now.....

Stern: I told you there was parity in the NBA....while doing this :barf:when nobody is looking.

It would be one of the best things to happen to the NBA. The NBA needs a breath of fresh air.

Good job, Atlanta.

Now lets get back to talking about how the Mavericks simply dismantled the Lakers!!!

which team matches up better with dallas in the WCF?

OKC's westbrook would be a tough guard.

zac randolph always kills dallas too.

Honestly I fear memphis a little more than OKC, but they are both good teams.

did anyone read that bosh said he was nervous in boston? would this be a concern? If I were the heat I would be a little irritated. I understand that he is human, but why would he say that to the press. (like bynum)...keep your issues in house dude.

Wow....

Watched it on fast forward for the most part (which is what we "true fans" must do at times). It sucked. Odom's foul was dumb, Bynum's was embarrassing. Thankfully, that will be Orlando's problem next season.

You must be reading a lot of Lakers Ground, what with your ability to discern "true" fans from plain old everyday fans from whatever isn't "true."

I am also glad that you went Miriam Webster on me to define band wagoner.. However, I don't thing that word means what you think it means. I'll leave it at that.

Wow indeed.

Bynum embarrassed me as a Lakers fan. That's the third time he's pulled that move, and it was clearly a frustration douchebag foul.

His demeanor afterwards was more telling, ripping his uni off and then just glossing it over in his post game comments and interviews.

I'm incredibly disappointed in the kid - I understand he was upset and frustrated, but you JUST. DON'T. DO. THAT. Embarrasses one of the greatest sports franchises of all time. It's worse then getting swept ugly.
