Lightning strikes!!!!

Seriously though, Conley and Gasol need to work on a pick and roll. Gasol could get to the rim if he'd just GO fer flips sake.

Gasol isn't really a pick and roll player.

He was fantastic all game though. Can't believe people on here seriously think Gortat is better right now.

What a basketball family. They have another 17 years old 7' brother in highschool right now said to be the next Dirk.

What the heck? The Spurs don't call timeout, don't even get off a potential game tying shot.

Duncan was trying to get a timeout when Manu was trapped. The refs didn't call it. A little pleasure is better than none at all.

Man, the ABC/ESPN announcers were sure Manu-homers. Is there any doubt that the league lets the networks know who to spotlight in each game, no matter what?

Marketing, it's a part of the game. Unabashed favoritism, it's boring in a national telecast.

how so in reference to tonights game?

he did nothing wrong, unfortunately previous altercations preceded him and his quick two fouls

Well I didn't specify tonight's game...I've always found him to be a whiny, fake tough guy who appears to think he's better than he actually is. But since you mention tonight...I ran my DVR back to watch that 2nd foul. He shoves Nene away and then is incredulous when the foul is called, complains like a baby, then gives the stink eye while grumbling off of the court. He's a punk.

Roy seriously just took a giant **** on dallas in the last 3 minutes. Holy crap. Ive never even seen kobe do that.

Uhm, Kobe outscored Dallas 62-61 through three quarters one year. It was a few weeks before his 81 point game.

It remains the most severe one-man dismantling of a team that I've ever, ever seen.

Cool story bro

Yeah, it was. It was kind of a big deal. Of course, Roy's furious fourth was something you've never seen Kobe do, ever. Not like the 30 in the third Kobe pulled off against Dallas was anything special, much less outscoring the Mavs HIMSELF through three quarters before resting the fourth. Next thing you know, someone will have a really good game against the Raptors and you will gush "wow, that was an amazing 50 point outburst...I haven't even seen Kobe do something like that!!!"

Oh, by the way, the cool story, bro meme is played out. Has been for a long, long time. But welcome to the Internet anyway.

I get what you are trying to say, but man, you're constantly gushing about the Lakers on a Suns message board. What the hell do you expect? You're gonna get some grief from time to time.

Yeah, Kobe's scoring outbursts that season were fun. Like all the other scoring outbursts that season. Didn't the change the hand-checking rules, and teams had problems adjusting? I think that's why you had three players averaging more than 30ppg that season.

Imagine if MJ had been at his prime that season!

But take nothing away from Bryant. He proved what a great scorer he is! And who cares about quitting in Game 7 when you score 62 points?

Here's a difference in this inane Brandon Roy/Kobe Bryant argument....

Brandon Roy was performing above his level. His physical limitation alone made the performance pretty legendary. His bad year, the level of the defense, the importance of the game...all that pressure on a player who is above average, but not a superstar...and he came through.

Kobe Bryant should be doing this every game with all of his talent.

I'll give that, for sure. Roy's outburst was ridiculous and he was playing WAY over his head, deep in a one-man zone.

I only found it funny that the poster chose Kobe, of all people, to make his reference to, when Kobe had one of his two greatest and legendary performances ever against the Mavs. If he had said "I have never seen even LeBron do that" it's not weird.

Ibaka looks like he will be a top 7 PF soon. He is only 21 years old. Lead the league in total blocks already, very good defender and his offensive game is starting to come around.

22 points 16 rebounds 4 blocks yesterday..

12.3ppg 11rpg 3.3 blocks in just 29mpg for the series

On July 20, 2007, Seattle acquired 2008 and 2010 first-round draft picks and Kurt Thomas from Phoenix in exchange for a 2009 second-round draft pick.[22] Seattle used the pick to draft Serge Ibaka.

I don't think there can be any competition for Worst Trade of All Time. Words simply can't describe how bad it was.

Don't cry baby.. I'll edit my post for you and change it to dwayne wade or something ok? Just don't cry and pout. Then we can act like nothing even happened, and you can crawl back into your hole to keep lurking around to make sure no one makes laker/kobe comments.

Whatever you have to do to make yourself feel better, dude.

I do quite enjoy the tired smack you are running on yourself, though. It's entertaining to see a someone think they are clever when posting old memes and pulling "cry baby" cards out of thin air. It's kind of fun watching you kick your own ass. Please do keep it up. May I suggest some Charlie Sheen smack next? That's always quite fresh and exciting...can't get enough of it!
