Somewhere around 4-8 wins. Did the team even improve at all during the offseason?

The failed Kolb trade will haunt us for the next 5 years or more. That one single move will have many unintended consequences of the worst kind. Someone should have to lose their job over that move. It was and is devastating. The age old question of is Green really our GM and makes GM decisions, surfaces once again. We really do not know if our GM had anything to do with that trade or not. I just have to believe that it had to be approved by Michael Bidwill. Cannot see any Bidwill not being involved in a deal of this magnitude. Oh well what is new?

No doubt this will be a very bleh/forgettable year.

Nothing changes till we are secure at QB and we will be 7-9 for the forseeable future.

How so?

We only coughed up a CB who most thought didn't fit what Rhodes wants schematically & a 2nd rounder. It's seems we got fleeced by the Iggles, but Wiz & Co can quickly recover if Skelton is the man (I doubt) or we somehow get a young stud QB next year. 5 yrs because of Kolb...don't think so!

It's already cost this team 2 years, then factor in the time if the Cards draft a rookie QB and start him that's at least 2+ years of development. What's worse is if you add in the time this regime jerked around with Derek Anderson at QB and the time it took to realize they couldn't develop Leinart and missed out on opportunities to find Warner's replacement. This mismanagement of the QB position has already cost this team 3 seasons plus possibly 3 or four more.

I think we're a 7-win team.

We're going to lose at least one that we shouldn't and win one that we shouldn't, too.

My Dire Prediction...

SEA WIN (Both teams play like crap. Someone has to win)
@NE LOSS (Brady Carves us up)
PHI LOSS (Vick has this game circled on the calendar after last year)
MIA WIN (Benefit from shaky QB play)
@STL WIN (As per usual)
BUF LOSS (Their pass rush kills Skelton)
@MIN WIN (Shocking win on the road, fans do the wave)
SF LOSS (Another Monday Night Meltdown)
@GB LOSS (No shot)
@ATL LOSS (We look baaaaaad on the East Coast)
STL WIN (Easy win at home)
@NYJ LOSS (Would win if at home, most maddening game of season)
@SEA LOSS (False-start, Levi Brown back for his first game)
DET LOSS (This one gets ugly)
CHI LOSS (We've packed it in)
@SF LOSS (Worst game of the year, but no one bothers to watch)

5-11, good enough for the 5th pick in the draft behind:

JAX
CLE
TB
STL

5-11. Cause there the Cardinals and that's what they do.

Sadly we could be looking at another 3-15 like stretch like the one from 2010 to 2011. Bottom of the NFL QBs and offensive line and a defense that could be overrated from playing some poor offenses the last half of last year. I'm also concerned about our kickoff and punt coverage teams.

Oh well another year of if and hope.

This. Cherishing every win. Love the team, but I don't see the season going well.

Disagree. It's the failed 1st round 2006 draft pick of Matt Leinart that continues to haunt this team. The Kolb fiasco is just residual from that pick because we were looking to quickly fill that void left behind.

For all intents and purposes, had Leinart panned out, we aren't complaining about the position today and trading players and picks to get a QBoF.

From Sando's Chat today:

Jim (Oregon)

So Mike... Now that you have visited all the camps has your opinion changed at all regarding the order of finish in the division?

Mike Sando (1:08 PM)

I emerged from the camps feeling better about elevating Seattle over Arizona as the projected top threat to San Francisco. I thought about moving St. Louis over Arizona, but did not do it. Probably felt about the same on the 49ers, a little better on the Seahawks and Rams, a little worse on the Cardinals.

If we finish behind the Rams....... I would have to imagine that someone would lost their job.

I think this is distinctly possible if Kolb remains the starter, and yet I dont expect anyone to lose their job other than maybe Kolb if he dosen't cut it.

I'd like to revise my 5-11 prediction. No way we're that good. What a waste of talent because we can't build a decent OL in CKW's entire tenure. And our QBs flat out suck.

2-14. #1 pick overall. We take Barkley. Ignore OL again and get him killed within his first 5 snaps.
